Prinsotel La Pineda

Cala Rajada was my 22 year old daughter`s choice as it caters for a wide range of age groups and we opted for the Prinsotel La Pineda hotel because of its central location and the alpharooms price was lower than the price offered on the hotel`s own website!. Within 3 minutes you are in the the main shopping street which leads on the left to the beautiful beach of Cala Agulla and on the right to the centre of Cala Rajada with its harbour (lots of restaurants and bars) and second beach Son Moll. From the harbour there is a pleasant promenade walk to the small beach of Cala Gat. We stayed half-board in one of the hotel rooms which was pleasantly furnished and had a small balcony. The buffet breakfast and evening meal provided plenty of choice. We also found the staff friendly and helpful and noted that the activities offered were under-used. The majority of tourists in Cala Rajada are German and it does have a slightly more upmarket feel than some other resorts. We too would recommend this hotel to families with younger children, and couples of all ages. A further tip, if you have a hire car, the beach of Cala Mesquida, a 10 minute drive from Cala Rajada.
