The location of the hotel was superb with transport a very short walk away and all the tourist attractions were in either a short walk or a short tram journey away.
The breakfast was exceptional and always of the same standard every morning. The health centre was good and the sauna/spa/steam room was of good value although the extra charge or 10 euros for the sauna/spa/steam rooms were not mentioned on the hotel website. The pool was too cold to go into, we did not know if it was heated or not but it was too cold to enter. The English bar we found was to be very expensive compared to local places. The staff at the reception were very helpful with any request. We had one problem with our room, the water system failed and it was remedied swiftly. Our maid was very good and to a high standard as well. The hotel was very clean and to a good standard.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Best Western President Hotel and we shall be returning to Istanbul in the very near future and would like to stay there again. I think that says it all - we would like to return :-).
