Although very basic this hotel is clean and you get what you pay for as far as room size is concerned. All in all the quality of the hotel is fine, what was majorly deceiving however is the location. It is in the middle of nowhere and quite far from la rochelle town centre. There is a bus but it doesn't run on Sundays and the last bus is at 7.30pm every other day. It will also cost at least 15 euros each way. It still might work out comparatively cheaper to staying in a hotel in the town centre but it is quite inpractical so it's worth being aware of.
