The Polo Hotel was built in 1850 and renovated in 2003, the fabulous 3-floor hotel has a total of 36 rooms of which 5 are singles and 31 are doubles. The hotel’s facilities include a pleasant lobby, a 24-hour reception with a safe, a currency exchange desk, a lift, a café and a bar. In addition, it boasts an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant, a TV room, a conference room and a public Internet terminal. Room and laundry services are also available as well as medical assistance.

Lovely hotel, centrally located for all the amenities and is just across the road from the bullring and a park which has wonderful views. Comfortable, clean and spacious bedroom. Friendly and helpful staff (some English spoken). Buffet breakfast was varied and generous.

The hotel does not have its own car-park but offers a discount (10 euros a day) to park in another nearby hotel. On-street parking is possible if you can find a slot.

We went in early March and found the weather was perfect - cold mornings and evenings but warm sunshine during the day.
