The Pollensa Park Hotel occupies an excellent position just a few minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beach and just one and a half kilometers from the resort centre, where guests will find a selection of shopping and entertainment venues. pollensaa park is a great hotel. the food is consistently good quality (end of July/august) and everyone is very friendly. during august there are people of all ages from young children to over 50s. there is entertainment for children and adults from 10am-11/12pm. the bedrooms (with 2/3 beds). are quite small and the baths in some rooms are small, but there is a shower and do not get a room on the ground floor(with a terrace) during summer as there are lots of ants and some rooms overlook some bins.
the hotel is very close to the town of pollensa and is just a short bus ride(which is well air conditioned) away from alcudia which has an old town and mallorca's longest beach.
the hotel is a 60 second walk from the beach and is next to many shops and an english bar which has its own entertainment. the hotels entertainment consists of activities for under 13s and sports activities for age 13 and over which are things like french bowls, football, archery, rifle shooting, darts, snooker, water volleyball etc. the evening entertainment is a children's disco then sometimes bingo then different acts including dancing, comedian acts, singing etc which goes on untill 11/12pm and the bar is open until 2 am. the hotel provides breakfast and lunch but there are always long cues between 8-9am (you can go in before and after then as well) and 6-7pm. there is always a few different choices for lunch and dinner. you can get lunch from the bar.
the pool is cleaned every night and there are lots of deck chairs and the doors open at 9am but you need to go down at 8.30/8.45 as there isn't enough for everyone who wants them. overall, the hotel is very good.
