The Plessas Palace Hotel is situated in the resort of Alykanas, just 100 metres from the centre and 600 metres from the golden sandy beaches. Alykanas is a relaxing resort with plenty of shops and restaurants, making it ideal for families and couples. This idyllic hotel offers a good range of facilities, including a large open-air swimming pool and a snack bar serving snacks and refreshments. At night the hotel organises Greek nights and weekly barbecues, which are a great way to end an evening. Guest rooms within the Plessas Palace have views of the mountains or the pool and come equipped with all the amenities one could expect from a hotel of its class.

I went to Plessas Place with my boyfriend in the first week of June 09. It was intended to be a cheap week away in a quiet resort and that is what it was. We had a lovely room, with balcony overlooking the pool and surrounding mountains, we were on the top floor and the roof was a pitched wooden roof so seemed scandinavian but looked really nice. We went self catering which included a fridge, two ring hob and a sink. Deposit box and air conditioning is extra but we didn't get either. It was clean but not spotless and when the cleaners made the bed it was more like throw the sheet back on but it was ok. The resort is very quiet but enough bars a restaurants to occupy us for a week. It might be the recession or the euro that is turning people away at the moment so supsect it is quieter than it normally is. Overall is was exactly what we wanted, cheap, relaxing and a decent place to stay.
