Enjoyable weekend

As a resident in the south I thought it was time to explore my capital. This hotel was a perfect base from which to do just that. Great central location, near shops, museums, and historical points of interest. Good value for money resteraunts near by especially chinese yum! The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety of food on offer and the roof terrace was lovely, even with the local pigeon brigade flying near. Would definetly recommend this hotel as good value for money.

Good value quality hotel in excellent location

It is hard to fault this good value hotel on Plaza La Candelaria. Room 608 is a reasonably sized double room, spotlessly clean with modern laminate flooring. Electronic door locks. Two minor drawbacks – a small tv with no English language channels, and no balcony. Reasonable breakfast buffet between 7:00 and 10:00 although if you want fresh air you have to share the outside terrace with the pigeons. Several good value Chinese restaurants and a branch of McDonalds within 5 mins walk.

Good location, close to local shops, bars and restaurants, buses, taxi and trams. Shopping centres and Corte Ingles not too far away. Clean and friendly, excellent breakfast taken on roof terrace. Would like to visit again and stay bit longer to explore more.

Review of 'Plaza'

Anaga area, far away from tourist land. Area excellent for walking but also for site seeing, tiny villages with bars, restaurants to sit in and wait for bus back. We took buses and walked on the old footpaths through the countryside but as we are in our 60s we also realised that this hotel is absolutely ideal for people with difficulties getting around - hotel will order taxi to door reached by ramps. Botanical Gardens in Santa Cruz brilliant, free in open square and have cafe and taxi access! This hotel offers excellent unobtrusive service and you couldn't fail to be pleased if you stayed there. They will take care of you. Enjoy!
