Requested Sea View with Alpharooms but we did not have a room with sea view on arrival, next room offered was not prepared, so we were third time lucky with sea view.  Requested info on sauna faciliites told yes they do have but would have to go across road to another/sister hotel but given no further information, no apology was made for not having the sea view initially, but then phone call was received to ask if room was OK.  Overall, very clean facilites, staff are good, breakfast is excellent and would go again.  My brother was also staying for 5 nights and as was his birthday he did receive bottle of champagne which he was very pleased with.

Having lived in roquetas a few years ago we often go back to visit old friends and have stayed at various hotels in the area. This was the first time at the caprichio, being early December a lot of the hotels close to get ready for xmas.We requested a twin room with sea views and were really surprised to have a large very clean and comfortable room with two queen size beds and a fantastic view of the ocean and surrounding areas.another surprise was a bottle of wine left in the room to welcome us.The downfall to many of the hotels is the resaurant. As we arrived early saturday evening we decided to look in at the restaurant,if the food was not good then we would get changed and go out to eat. We were very surprised and could not fault it at all. There was plenty of choice and cooked freshly. Though buffet service. Even the staff wore mouth masks and gloves to stop any contamination. Breakfast was also very good.
Being early december the hotel was catering for senior citizens as far as the entertainment, this did not bother us as obviously we had'nt intended to stay in the hotel in the evenings. We had a car but as this hotel is very central it is not needed. On our last day we were not leaving the resort till the evening and we were allowed to keep our room on at no extra charge.(By the way the rooms are also soundproof so we were not bothered by the other guests. The staff in the hotel were all ovely people, very polite and friendly. We will certainly be going back there.

Review of 'PLAYACAPRICHO'

We have just enjoyed 1 week stay at the Playacapricho. The weather was wall to wall sunshine - great for December. We had
one evening when there was a thuderstorm and the roads flooded!
We had trouble finding the entrance as it was tucked down a small
side street - but when we found it we were very impressed. The reception area was decorated very tastefully for Christmas and very welcoming. The hotel has a Roman theme with pillars either side of the 2 Double beds. The staff vere very helpful and we had no lang
uage problems.
We did not opt for a sea view but were pleased with the view we had -
we looked out towards the mountains, down the main street (very interesting) and we could still see the sea if we looked to the
left. We enjoyed the breakfast as there was an option for every taste.
Roquetas is a very Spanish resort which we enjoy as we like to try the local dishes. There are plenty of restaurants including
a selection of English for the people who dont like to experiment
with the local food. We will be returning.

We have stayed at the Hotel Capricho twice now, and found it so convenient for everything, beach shops town.  It is a lovely hotel and the food is really good, with a really good variety of food.  We found the rooms really nice especially if you have a seaview. This is a hotel we would definately go back to, infact we are going back in a couple of weeks time and can't wait.
