Good experience
24 February 2008
This was our first trip to Majorca, so we didn't know what to expect. The hotel is easy to find on the seafront at Muro. We booked a "family triple" which turned out to be a double with an extra bed, but that is fairly standard for most hotels. The beds were harder than we are used to, but again this is only to be expected. Generally the place is very clean and well maintained (staff were friendly). Most of the guests are older German couples, so beware elderly naked men in the otherwise excellent spa complex. The panoramic dining room provided excellent breakfast an dinner on a buffet basis each day (including sparkling wine with breakfast and fresh fish as one of the evening choices each day). We booked based on the heated outdoor and indoor pools (it was February), which were both very good. There are a couple of playgrounds for kids in the hotel complex, but the kids' club was closed since we were there out of season. Don't go if you are looking for wild excitement and entertainment out of season, or if you don't like Germans. Go if you want good food, a beautiful beach and a clean and well managed hotel
