06 November 2008
Stayed all inclusive. Could not fault the hotel. Great views, its own bay.Plenty to do for the kids entertainment staff great, they went out of there way to please the kids. No problems with staff all friendly and efficient. Food good no complaints only if you over indulge (too much) thats easily done. drinks ok all international brands, as well as local. we had a car so no problems with its position. All in all great week, will use again.

Bad service, small rooms
07 August 2008
Send all employees to customer care education for life! This hotel's staff is so rigid and the only persons they smile at are the guests from Madrid.
A classic mid-80 look hotell. Nice sea view and good beach though.

Everything OK in Playabonita
22 July 2008
Last year we had two weeks AI vacation in Summer. So, this summer we had our second AI vacation at Playbonita in June 2008. Last year I me the hotel manager just to tell him that there is eveything OK in Playbonita, so no complaints. This year I only told him hello again here, everythin is OK still: views, location, beach, climate, rooms, food, bevereges, service etc.

Review of 'Playa Bonita'
27 October 2006
We had a fantastic stay at the Playa Bonita. Although it is out of the town of Benalmadena the bus stop is directly outside the hotel which runs every 15 mins. The hotel has fantastic facilities and the indoor pool is great too. The hotel food is excellent and the whole place is very clean.

Review of 'Playa Bonita'
22 October 2006
My four friends and I stayed at the Playa Bonita all inclusive for a long weekend, at the end of September. It was the best weekend ever the weather was fab, hotel right on the beach, for those late night romantic walks. All the rooms have a seaview. Rooms were cleaned everyday, clean towels given every day. Staff were pleasant and helpful. There is a bus stop outside hotel, the taxi service is good. Fantastic place.

Review of 'PLAYA BONITA'
25 June 2006
Spent three nights at the Playa Bonita and left with mixed feelings. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the rooms were adequately sized and comfortable with a lovely sea view. However to enjoy the vista I was forced to dodge dive-bombing house martins who had built a nest on the balcony. The twittering birds also provided an early morning alarm call as soon as the sun rose - and their pile of poo below the beautifully constructed mud home attracted a steady stream of ants. An early night was also out of the question as the entertainment rocked on until midnight - and later at weekends. Despite being eight floors above I was treated to singing, dancing and ear-splitting karaoke as holidaymakers guzzled the cerveza and sangria. In a bid to drown out the noise I flicked on the TV - but found the only English speaking channels to be BBC World or CNN. Thankfully the WOrld Cup was on so I was able to enjoy a cracking game of football - complete with German commentary! Sadly the hotel staff could also benefit in some customer skill lessons. Everyone from reception to restaurant barely cracked a smile and I found them to be less than helpful. I was also disappointed to be charged a whopping 12.50 euros A NIGHT to leave my hire motor in the virtually deserted hotel car park. But before you ditch any plans to stay at Playa Bonita there were some plus points. The freshly-cooked buffet food was excellent at breakfast lunch and dinner. There was a wide array of fish and meat, salad and soup - and the delicious desserts proved a huge hit. The facilities were also top-notch. With a golden beach on the doorstep the hotel also boasted a kids club perfect for stressed out parents, crazy golf and gym. And the pool was the perfect place to unwind and relax - once you had found your way down the stairs, through the electronic gates and along the prom to the gated complex. All in all a mixed bag but worth trying!

Review of 'PLAYA BONITA'

We travel a lot around the Costa del Sol and have stayed in many, many hotels there. The food was fab (although very busy in the self service restaurant), measures good in bars (watch out for a change of bar during happy hour though) and lovely rooms. Fab pool too, (but don't leave your towel lying around...It will be moved) and a pleasant environment. One thing to note, it could do with better sign posting inside...it took us 20 mins to find the pool and the beach. Yes, laugh...it's true.

Excellent Hotel. I took my 10 month old son for a short break during the October Half Term while my husband was working and my daughter attended Brownie Camp, my friend Vera flew from Manchester to join me. We payed for the "fully inclusive" package, I would recommend this to all! The room was pleasant (and very clean)and the view from the balcony breathtaking. The food was excellent, plenty of choice and lots of it! The staff were very friendly and the measures of Bacardi very generous!! I would recommend this hotel and the Playa Senator chain of hotels to everyone. I am hoping to take the whole family back next summer (availability allowing?)

Review of 'PLAYA BONITA'
02 November 2005
This was our second stay at the PLAYA BONITA AND we look forward to the next one.The hotel is very clean and welcoming. We found the staff very helpful and friendly. If you cant find something in the dining room to suit your palette then you are not trying. The fact that the "life" outside of the hotel is about 3km away gives you the best of both worlds as there is no shortage of buses and taxis with no "rip offs". In short this is a lovely hotel in a lovely area making it excellent value.

One of the best Hotels on the Costa Del Sol.My wife and I have stayed at the hotel 3 times in the last four years it is ideal for the end of season break that is when we have visited. We also have taken our 4 yr old grandson and had a wonderful time. The hotel is directly on the beach with an ouside large pool, and a inside heated pool the children love it.Food superb International cuisine and always friendly staff . We will once again be using the Hotel for a spring 2006 holiday.

Review of 'PLAYA BONITA'
05 July 2005
Our party was made up of 3 adults in there 40's. The hotel was only a short taxi ride from the airport, approx 20 mins. Our first impressions of the hotel were very high. It met all our expectations and more. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and approachable. Cleanliness was very high, both inside the hotel and it's grounds, surprisingly there was not litter at all. The rooms were excellent, all with a seaview, mini-bar, TV, air-con & room fan. The beach area was small, but sufficient and for 8 Euros you could hire 2 x beds/parasol for the day.
The food was of a high standard. Good variety for meat and cheese eaters, not so good for vegetarians/vegans. A good bottle of wine cost approx 10 Euros.
What was very nice was the fact that it was mainly populated by Spanish couples and families. It is not a place for those who want Kareoki and clubbing. These can be found in the town itself. Luckily for us the hotel was approx 3K from the town.
The Entertainment was of average standard, the only downfall was that it was very loud and didn't end till approx 0030 hrs, so if you wanted an early quiet night - you didn't get one.
On the whole I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel, my friends and I will most certainly go back. At the end of the holiday we were relaxed and we didn't get the feeling we had been ripped off. The hotel and staff were first class. We were so glad we picked this accommodation.

Review of 'PLAYA BONITA'
26 March 2005
The hotel Playa Bonita was excellent value for money and the standard of accommodation really earnt the 4star rating. The meals were absolutely brilliant with fresh meat and fish being cooked to order by a team of chefs. Breakfast in the mornings had the usual continental buffet fare but also fresh bacon and eggs being cooked on order and also fresh omelettes cooked to order. The pool with slides was immaculate and the beach was very nice and private on the hotels doorstep. The only minor complaint would be that the price of drinks in the hotel was a little steep. As for the hotels location it is a little bit isolated being right on the outskirts of Benalmadena but there is a bus stop just outside the hotel and regular buses to Benalmadena and Fuengirola. The hotel staff are very friendly and also very helpful. The hotel entertainment was not really my cup of tea being 'germanic' humour during the shows but the entertainment team tried hard and were enthusiastic !
