fantastic hotel, let down by seles reps!

05 August 2008
We stayed at Planet Holywood for 1 week. They have done a fantastic job revovating it. Its very modern, the rooms are huge with a massive bathroom, fresh towels everyday. Really clean and very comfy beds. Also a huge plasma tv in the room, not that we had chance to watch it! The casino i'd say is one of the best on the strip, really good atmosphere and and resteraunts are also really good. The only thing that really lets the hotel down is the sales reps trying to sell you a timeshare in the new Planet Hollywood Towers that are still being built. They hang about by all entrances to the hotel. They try to lure you in with the promise of a free show and meal at the hotel to start with and then they start with the sales talk and the deposit you need to make!! so not free at all!! It got so annoying that we avoided entering the casino via the strip and when approached we lied and said that we were leaving to go home today. That seemed to work. Apart from that, the hotel is great and i would highly recommend it.

Not bad, annoying sales reps in casino

25 February 2008
Comfy beds, Clean rooms, nice staff, nice view of the strip and the Bellagio fountains. pushy and annoying internal sales reps, every time you walk through the casino at least 2 or more sales reps tries to stop you with a offer to buy a time share apartment in PH new time share buildings across from the hotel, and that becomes so annoying, and it is the reason that I will never stay there again it’s like going to costa del sol 5 to 20 years ago back when you couldn’t walk more than 500 yards without a sales rep pitch

Planet Hollywood

26 August 2007
We have just returned from a 2 week trip to Vegas. We stayed in a renovated room in PH which was huge. The bathroom was fab, with a separate shower and gigantic bath. The lobby / casino now look the best on the strip in my opinion....very swish. My only complaint would be the pool area which is a lot of concrete and very old sun loungers. However, I suspect that this will probably be renovated. Some of the floors and guest rooms are still undergoing renovation, as is the facia and miracle mile shops (previously desert passage) however you hardly notice it. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

Review of 'Aladdin Las Vegas'

We stayed at the Alladin in October 2006.  Although the renovations for Planet Hollywood were under way, was never a problem.  Room was
great and nicest bed we have ever had in a hotel.  Staff were all very helpful.  The first 2 days there was no buffet because of the alterations but after that the new buffet opened and was superb. Went for breakfast twice and lunch once.  Would definately stay
at the Alladin (Planet Hollywood) again if we are ever lucky enough to return to Vegas.

Review of 'Aladdin Las Vegas'

Going to las Vegas for us was a dream come true, and it sure did live up to that dream.  The Aladdin hotel although in midst of change was wonderful.  It was in the middle of the strip opposite the Bellagio and next door to the Paris hotel.  We upgraded our room for $30 extra each night so that we could have a view of the bellagio's fountain show and it was worth every penny.  All staff were extremely hospitable, the room was fabulous and there was not one thing we could fault about our stay - apart from having to come home!!  We will recommend to everyone.

We had a wonderful stay at the Aladdin, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, everything you need for a great holiday. The location is great and everything is at your fingertips. Would we stay again? YES without a second thought, would we recommend it to our friends YES without hesitation.....there are workmen around and it is obviously a "work in progress" but they did not have an adverse affect our stay at all.  Go and see for yourself and have a great time, check out the Sports bar in the Hotel, great prices and great service!

Might be worth mentioning to customers that the Aladdin is slowly being changed into a Planet Hollywood resort/casino and there is a lot of building work going on. Many of the hotels facilities such as lounges, restaurants and a large part of the casino are not availablt to customers due to the on going work.

Other than that the Aladdin is a very comfortable hotel with many amenities for all customers

Enjoyed our stay in Aladdin Hotel.Renovations did not make any difference at all as could not see or hear any noise from builders. Room and bathroom spotless-lots of clean towels everyday. Bathroom was huge-bigger than any we have ever had before.  Will definitely be back again.

we have stayed in the aladdin twice before so this is why we chose it again, however,it is in the process of being taken over by planet hollywood and so there was structural changes taken place but there was no noise.the hotel was still clean and staff very friendly. it is located in the center of the strip. it is 5 mins from the airport. it has a spa / pool/ several restraunts / the largest casino on the strip.the consierge will help with tours and shows. the aladdins show "v" is a must see (for all ages).

Building works in public areas made directions confusing but not intrusive.  This is a big hotel so easy to get lost! Room was excellent.  Service good.  Early morning fight for sunbeds was amusing!

Review of 'ALADDIN LAS VEGAS'

Spent 7 nights at the Aladdin from 26th May 2006.  We thought that it was great value for money.  Very comfortable room, the bed was one the comfiest I have ever had in a hotel.  Air conditioning worked perfect and the iron and ironing board was a great help.  Bathroom was huge and had a seperate bath and shower.  We were told that there may be some work going on as it is currently being renovated to "Planet Holywood".  Did not find any of this an issue - in fact we had forgotten about it until we saw a sign in the hotel which was after 4 days!!  So any work was well hidden.  All in a great hotel in a great position on the strip.  Recommended.

Review of 'ALADDIN LAS VEGAS'

06 April 2006
We were thrilled with our room at the Aladdin.  We were on the 38th floor, and overlooked "the Strip."  Directly across the street was the Bellagio, with it's gorgeous lake and fountain show every 15 minutes.  We were treated courteously.  There were only 2 downsides:
Planet Hollywood has purchased the hotel, and it is in the midst of being re-invented to open on New Year's Eve as a new hotel.  Construction everywhere.  For our purposes (one night) it wasn't too bad.
If we ever stayed there again, we would use the valet parking.  We used the self-parking, and had to walk for what felt like miles.  The walking wasn't SO bad, but it was a big waste of time.
