I was slightly concerned about some of the reviews of this hotel that I had seen on Tripadvisor but am gald to say we had no problems at all. We were a group of three females and booked a triple room which comprised two normal single beds and a third 'camp' bed which was actually very comfortable. We had views from our room of the main street which runs through the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. The hotel staff were very friendly. The rooftop terrace is fantastic. There are views on three sides and you can see the blue mosque, the bosphorus and Topkapi palace. We ate there one evening and the food was good. Service was attentive but not annoyingly so. After our first evening up there the main waiter brought us pashmina's to wear on the subsequent evenings because it can be a little cool because of the breeze. There is an indoor area though which haas equally good views. The massages offered by the health club were good but ladies should be warned that it involves massage of the breast area (by a female masseuse) and you are required to be topless, but this is the way it is done in Turkey as you will discover if you go to the nearby Hammam. All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel due the friendliness of the staff and great location.
