Petit Palace Germanias

My Daughter and I stayed 3 nights at Petit Palace Germanias. (2 adults in a twin room) Hotel was easy to find from the map - metro from the airport 1.70 euros and then about 500 m walk. How easy was that. Great if you get the map the correct way up. Streets nearby do not encourage you to be there as they are dirty and dusty with a lot of rubble about. Discovered that they were building the new metro line in this area. This made crossing the main road difficult. BUT no noise in the hotel at all. Our room was a little small. Not space for 2 people walking about together but it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was something else! Glass see through door. About 20 cm. between the loo and the bathside with a glass shower door obstructing the way. If you were not agile to climb up and into the bath / shower you may hurt yourself. Good shower. Basic toiletries are supplied and the towels were changed daily. We were on the 5 th floor so used the lift. Breakfast was adjacent to the reception area of the hotel (no separate dining room) and was buffet style with plenty of healthy choice. No other meals were available so do not expect a restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful, speaking several languages between them. I would use this hotel again.
