What our customers say
We stayed here in May 2009 in a villa. The hotel itself was quite nice but the tower blocks around it were really off putting. Looked a bit like the chatsworth estate (from shameless) from a distance. The villas and areas around the main hotel all need updating. Breakfast was good - we didn't eat in the hotel at night though because the food was really expensive if not half board - looked nice though. Drinks expensive too. The beach would have been nice if it were not for the constant parade of huge dumper trucks moving sand from one end to the other. The location is good on the beach but quite a walk to the town which is pretty standard - not bad. The spa and sauna was quite nice and ladies enjoyed their treatments. The best part about the hotel was the golf packages with golf courses that are in the group discounted. Check about booking more than one round together - its cheaper and they didn't tell us. Also their is a pay once shuttle bus which makes the resort a good bet for a golf trip if you like the nineteenth hole. We played Pinta and Gramcho - both nice but the latter is better. Think it was about 90 euro for two rounds and 15 each for the shuttle which you can use as much as you like . Pinta is only about 2km away though. If the beach was sorted out I could recommend for a family holiday otherwise Id only go on a golf trip. Don't fret if you already booked its not terrible - just some bad, some good and some downright ugly (the tower blocks) . Can't go without mentioning the chillout bar on the way to town (orange seats). A basic bar with amazingly cheap drinks and a nice owner and nice atmosphere - recommended stop off on the way to and from town.
