The hotel Pelayo is a great value 1* budget hotel in an excellent central location, just off the Playa Catalonya, next to the famous Las Ramblas allowing for much of the city to be explored on foot. All rooms are basic but comfortable with en-suite facilities, safe, air-conditioning and television. This hotel is excellent value for money! Guests are advised that the breakfast consists of tea, coffee and cakes on a self service basis from the reception area. (guests are advised that there is no step free access to the elevators)

Just back from Barcelona, Great area to stay if you are going to be drinking/ Shopping on the Ramblers. Hotel clean and friendly. Breakfast ! ok if you like cake and tea/ coffee from the drinks.machine, which is located at reception. Location :- Go to the top of the Rambles turn left and walk about 3 mins. no need for Taxis
