Good Value
05 June 2007
Arrived during the evening and received a warm welcome, after checking in we were shown our room by the porter. it was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The hotel itself was well run and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. There is not much in the way of childrens entertainment but the youg man, Micheal, who was there 5 days of the week was very good with them and played pool, table tennis and water volleyball etc. The restaurant was well run and the staff very efficient. Overall a lovely holiday in lovelt surroundings, but beware of all the steps, there are a lot so you need to be quite fit.

Review of 'Parque Albatros'
18 March 2007
Arrived at reception at around 8pm only to be told that the sixty euro deposit was payable in cash only - everywhere else we have ever stayed has happily accepted a card payment. We were just about to set off for a twenty minute walk to the nearest cash point when my husband remembered he had some euros. By this time the porter had disappeared so we had to manhandle our luggage through several flights of stairs and find our block, which wasn't well signed. The apartment itself was average if somewhat dated and tired but clean and well equipped. Unfortunately the table parasol on the balcony didn't have a secure base and one breezy day the whole thing tipped, smashing crockery and glassware. I suffered a painful injury to my arm where one of the spokes punctured the skin and caused a very painful bruise. We reported it immediately and the maintainance department were there within the hour to attach a secure base to the parasol. No one, however, bothered to ring or call to see if I was ok. Apart from that we had a good break. The complex is well kept, with luscious planting and the pool was cleaned frequently. It would be a little quiet perhaps for those who like to party hard. It is probably not suitable for disabled people, due to the number of steps to be climbed, eg from the upper terraces to the restaurant (which, by the way, is very pleasant with quite good food at reasonable prices and helpful staff)

Review of 'Parque Albatros'
18 February 2007
Parque Albatros is in a nice location in Golf del Sur which is quieter than Playa las Americas but close enough to Las Americas should you wish to go there to shop For those who like to walk there is a nice coastal beach walk in both directions- east towards San Blas and then Los Abrigos and west towards the many golf courses (Los Abrigos is a quaint old fishing village with lots of seafood restarants)Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity and for the active ...of course golf and there are also plenty tennis courts around The apartments are very clean, spacious and well equipped Towels are replaced every two days Only complaint I would have is lack of ramps for the 'wheelie' suitcases There are lots of steps so maybe not suitable for elderly and very infirm On the whole though I would thoroughly recommend Parque Albatros I would go there again

Lovely clean apartments with homely touch. Nice complex, well cared for. Staff nice. Not a lot to do. Need to like walking to reach the shopping centre, but I enjoyed the walk as don't do enough. Not good for people with aids as lots of steps around the complex as on different levels. Iwould go again if you like a quiet holiday .The place to go an relax.

hotel was really nice, but the steps could be a problem for a lot of people.quite a bit of aircraft noise but we were out most of the day so it didnt bother us too much.there is still a lot of building work going on in the area, but here again didnt trouble us too much.local restaurants good and not very expensive.this is not a place we would take our kids as there is nothing for them to do,but for us made a good base to explore the island.

Short Stay
06 October 2006
We arrived on Saturday night minus our luggage. The following evening the receptionist very kindly offered to telephone the airport baggage handlers at Tenerife Sur on our behalf and then telephone us (as we were going out to dinner with some friends)to confirm that our luggage had arrived and that we could collect it. I regret that we didn't make a note of her name because she was a credit to the Parque Albatros and we are exteremely grateful for her assistance. Our stay, although short, was great. Many thanks

This is the first time we have been to Tenerife and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Every one there was extremly friendly. Apartments were well equipped clean & modern - we were impressed, The pool is always spotlessly clean with a lifeguard always there. The weather was beautiful so what more can I say really except we will be going back soon!
