Review of 'Park Inn Heathrow

Nowadays I always try to stay at the Park Inn Heathrow on departure and arrival back into the UK.

One would imagine that the noise of aircraft taking-off and landing would be very disturbing to a country-girl like myself.
I can promise you that I have never found it a problem, the place must be so well sound-proofed.

I go on the internet and look for the best prices, and so far the Park Inn has managed to find me a room at the rate I can afford.

I find a good swim in the pool relieves the stresses of pre-departure build-up, and relaxes me ready for my long-haul flights.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. Rooms clean and well serviced.

Last visit a couple of the reading lamps in my room were out of action. A call to maintenance and the job got fixed. Well I really needed that reading lamp as I still had a few last minute bits of paper-work to do.  The receptionist gave me an envelope to pop my finished work into and the smart gentleman that helps you with all things, from luggage and "things to do in London" found me a stamp for my envelope
Look! That is the kind of help that travellers need. It was'nt a question of "O no sorry madam, that will cost you an extra twenty pounds" or "if you were in the executive suite it would be avaliable"..I am the bog standard, solo, self-employed customer, getting a good service for the fair price I paid.

The breakfast dining-room service has got it spot-on..a seat quickly given, immediate and cheerful table service (how I love the keen and helpful visiting workers from the european union!)
and a very excellent and varied breakfast menu for all tastes.

Now I have only stopped at the Park Inn a few times. On one occasion my grandchildren and their parents stopped too.

Everyone felt relaxed and enjoyed the space and leisure facilities before we made sad farewells to my son and his family emigrating.  A last minute trip to nearby Windsor gave us a morning together to remember before collecting our luggage from the hotel and saying our goodbyes at the airport.

No! I'm not a travel-writer for Park Inn.  I run my own business in the West Country and I know how to look after my customers..its a refreshing change to stay at an hotel that gives me the service that I would expect and am very pleased to receive.

First class accommodation and efficient friendly service.Very convenient for the Airport and served regularly by Heathrow Hoppa. The breakfast is delicious. Have stayed many times now and wouldn't look elsewhere. The only drawback is you have to pay £10 a night for parking. If I was the manager I would waive this and then you would have the best Hotel at Heathrow!

A hugely successful find!
First the price via Alpha Rooms was excellent value.
Park Inn itself was a pleasant surprise: efficient and courteous reception; comfortable, spacious and well-appointed clean room; then quickly served by cheerful and polite bar staff in busy bar (from where I phoned my son to join me from the Marriott. He too was very favourably impressed); and an enjoyable guest-friendly breakfast.
Top marks all round!
