Rooms, cleanliness, facilities very good. Sheets and towles changed daily. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, especially Milenna who covers the entertainment at the Hotel for young and old alike. Only flaw is the food. Very dull and sometimes unrecognizable. Usually cold by the time you get back to your table as the plates are cold. Gardens and pool area very nice and well maintained..only problem is flies...drive you made but cannot blame the hotel for this. Overall an enjoyable stay would return...... without food option.

Wonderful Stay

26 May 2008
Have just returned from 4 nights at the this hotel. A very nice stay - the pool & gardens were very nice although still a bit cold. It was lovely having the garden to relex in. The bedrooms were clean and tidy and the towels and linen changed daily although the towels were a tad old and not very big. The meals were very good, could always find something to eat. The hotel is in an excellent position being only a very short walk from the beach and seafront with plenty of bars and cafes. I would definitely go back again.

Parasol Gardens

14 October 2007
A very nice hotel. Everything is clean - the pools & gardens and public rooms. The bedrooms are good and kept clean with towels and linen changed daily. All the staff are very friendly. The only thing that lets it down is the awful food which looked uninispiring and was never hot. Meat you could have soled your shoes with, rolls that would have rebuilt the Berlin wall and potatoes that were a cross between polyfilla and semolina pudding. The final straw was one dish that was pasta and brussel sprouts. If you do visit this Hotel go next door to the VICTORIA INN and meet Carole and Kevin they are a great couple and serve super food.

what a hotel!

11 May 2007
We arrived at the hotel and were warmly greeted by the staff.... our room was ready and wonderful.... the view from our balcony was great... it overlooked the pools and the garden, which was very well kept.....we were about 100 yards from the seafront, full of nice bars and cafes.... the food in the hotel was excellent and plentiful.....i dont know how people who have stayed in this hotel can complain about the food.... the only drawback was that if you tried to watch tv it was all in spanish apart from 1 in english which was cnn news.. overall the hotel was excellent and would definitely go back there again

parasol gardens in torremolinos

30 September 2005
Hotel parasol gardens is well worth a visit. We have just returned from our second visit there this year. The first time we took our 4 year old grandaughter with us and we all had a really good stay.We stayed on a full board basis both times and found a wide variety of food available, and what I liked was that there was always plenty of fresh fruit. It was spotlessly clean with a really friendly staff.
There is a childrens pool and a good sized adult pool and also a jacuzzi. Also there is a childrens play area with a slide climbing frame etc.
A very lovely lady named Milenna also organises games for the children and the adults such as darts, archery, rifle and pistol shooting and lots of other things. There are also table tennis and snooker tables available.
There is entertainment at night which is mostly a guy singing with a keyboard but there is also a flamingo night and a parrot show which is popular with the children.
We went back a second time this september on our own and had a really restful time as there are lovely gardens with plenty of sun loungers and a lovely lot of shady areas if you want to get out of the sun.You also have the beach just a short walk away. All in all a very good place for a lovely holiday. We will certainly be going back again.

Review of 'PARASOL GARDEN'

14 June 2005
Lovely hotel, good situation with beach across the road.  Immaculately clean and very accomodating staff.  Stayed 2 weeks on half board basis up to June 8th, 2005 - breakfast was very good with plenty of variety.  At beginning was disappointed at evening meal but as the fortnight progressed the meals improved - to boiled potato and vegetables by the end of the trip.  My advice - take your time looking at what's available at the buffet - then choose.  Soups for starters are lovely.  Plenty of salads and cold meats and plenty of fish.  Meat is always nice and tender.  We ate there 11 nights out of 14.  The other nights we just weren't in the hotel at meal time.

There is a lovely little cafe/restaurant just on the corner out the back gate of the hotel (El Paseo) with a fine selection on the menu for lunch and dinner (at very reasonable prices) if you don't like what's on at the hotel.

Travelled with a 2 year old - there was a lovely pool for him and a little play area off the gardens to keep him occupied which he loved.

Entertainment was provided every night - but isn't the best.  Most nights it's the same guy on a keyboard.  While he is good, every night is a bit much.

Enjoyed my stay here very much and would have no hesitation in making a return visit.

Review of 'PARASOL GARDEN'

13 May 2005
The hotel overall was very nice. Well presented and immaculately clean. The garden area, swimming pool and poolside bar were spacious, clean and comfortable.
The only complaint i had was the food. I stayed at Parasol for 3 nights on a half board basis and on each visit to the restaurant i left extremely queasy and unhappy!
The food was stale, freezing cold and i found everything (including desserts)had a fishy taste to it. There was plenty of it and it was often being replenished from the kitchen. But how they managed to bring trays and trays of freezing cold chips out every 3 mins i'll never know!
It spoilt the stay for me. But there was a cracking little cafe on the beachfront a stones throw away from the hotel. We ate there the whole time!
My advice to anyone planning a stay at Parasol is to go self catering to get your moneys worth.
Oh, and avoid the lady night receptionist. She's a savage!
