The apartment block is located five minutes walk from the sea front in one direction, and the bus station in the other direction. Right next to reception is a fairly well stocked supermarket.
The rooms are of very good size and have pretty much all the things you need, including a very nice kitchen area, TV, safe and balcony/patio. Try to ask for a room above ground level because of the cockroaches which are everywhere on the island, though not too much of a problem.
You can hire a safe for 17 euro, but you get 6 euro back when you return the key when you check out.
Along the sea front at Playa de las Americas is any number of places to eat and an English Breakfast is available absolutely everywhere. None of the restaurants are packed, so you will easily get a table.
At the apartments there is a pool table which costs 1 euro per game, poolside bar which it must be said does not have a very good selection of lagers, its Amstel or nothing! This poolside bar sells a reasonable selection of snacks/meals, reasonably priced, eg, lasagne for 4 euro.
The staff are very helpful and the cleaners seem very dedicated.
The poolside patio area is thoroughly cleaned regularly. You can purchase a days TV by paying at reception. One word of warning about the TV's, make sure you ask for the adult channels to be blocked, and when you get to your room, check that they are blocked before you let your kids have access to the TV unsupervised.
On the day you check out there is a side room in which you can leave your luggage til your coach arrives. This room is not secure so do not leave any major valuables/travel documents.
Remember to answer yes when asked at check in if you have left your bags unnattended.
