The Paragon Hotel is located in the centre of Birmingham, and is a Grade II listed building built in 1903, a magnificent example of Victorian Gothic architecture at its best. Many aspects of the building have been lovingly restored and its facilities are extensive for many functions such as conference and banqueting, weddings, and private dining. There are 250 bedrooms, all with en-suite and include direct dial telephone, colour TV and tea / coffee making facilities as standard. Car Parking is available at the Paragon Hotel and is charged on a daily basis with space for up to 200 vehicles. PLEASE NOTE: From the 22nd January 2007 the hotel will be undergoing refurbishment. During this period the function room and bar will be closed, however a temporary bar area will be available. Work will be carried out daily from 8am until 6pm. Disturbance will be kept to a minimum and work is expected to be finished by the end of April 2007.

The Paragon was perfect for our needs. We were visited Birmingham for a short stay and found the Paragon excellent value for money. The room was basic but clean and the hotel is in an excellent location on a quite street just a short trip from where all the action is in teh city centre (about £5-£6 in a taxi). The staff were friendly and helpful and we will definitely consider the Paragon again if we venture back to Brum.
