The Paragon was perfect for our needs. We were visited Birmingham for a short stay and found the Paragon excellent value for money. The room was basic but clean and the hotel is in an excellent location on a quite street just a short trip from where all the action is in teh city centre (about £5-£6 in a taxi). The staff were friendly and helpful and we will definitely consider the Paragon again if we venture back to Brum.

The Paragon Hotel is very well located, within walking distance to the city centre, shopping ect....great value for money, breakfast was excellent. The room was small but clean. The shower room was basic. If I was staying in Birmingham again, I would go back to the Paragon, night staff very friendly.

Wasn't sure what standard to expect for the bargain price we paid.The Paragon was conveniently situated within walking distance of the coach station and shopping centre.A magnificent, huge, old building in a quiet street away from the busy city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. The twin room was of a good standard and clean. Nice white towels and mini toiletries were much appreciated.A working TV with a good signal, hair dryer, "real" tea/coffee.Full english breakfast (self service)was fantastic, as much as you could help yourself to.
Ok...some areas would benefit from a bit of new decoration and the shower was quite difficult and possibly dangerously hot for a child to control. We did have a taxi to the nightlife around Broad St as that was a bit too far to walk in our "boogey
shoes"(£5)ish .Enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again soon! with "Alpharooms.com"

After booking the hotel based on its very reasonable price I wasnt expecting very much. However, on arrival at the hotel the staff were very efficient when chaking in and also very helpful with directions. The rooms were an acceptable size for a short stay, they were clean and tidy. The bathroom was small and the shower could so with updating, but the bargain price far out ways this minor fault. We walked into Birmingham city centre which was only a 10 minute stroll. The free brakfast was very good, a wide range of hot and cold food available.I will definately stay at this hotel again.
