fantastic views, very tranquil setting, an old monastary, beautifully restored. secluded courtyards to spend in romantic setting, staff in spanish costume all adds to ambiance. Breakfast was fab, champagne, bucks fizz on offer. well worth a visit to see Hotel alone, as well as beautiful Island, a peaceful break from a busier week in Las Americas. Would def reccomend to all.

Beautiful location on a quiet, unspoilt Canarian Island. Staff helpful and friendly, rooms spotless and well equipped, food excellent. This is an excellent base from which to explore the island of La Gomera - the walking is superb and you know there is a relaxing soak and a good meal awaiting you at the end of the day.
Well worth it.

A beautiful hotel set in a superlative location. Set on a clifftop, the Parador and its extensive gardens overlook San Sebastian with views out to sea to Tenerife and Mt Teide. It's a great place to relax and recuperate from urban life, as well as being an excellent base to see the island (by either bus or car).

What a pleasant stay at this hotel. From the moment you arrive smiling faces and helpful service. The large building is put to good use with large rooms, and thick walls, and long corridors decorated in antique chic style made it appear that we were on our own. Some rooms have access to a shared terrace that runs out to a balcony above the cliffs looking down to the small port and marina below. Sunrises and sunsets are easily enjoyed. Ok for non car drivers as accessable by taxi and if feeling active by a series of steps cascading down by the local homes to the town squares.

In a beautiful spot at the top of the cliff above the harbour about a mile from the ferry. Majestic building with ample grounds and excellent 25m swimming pool. Bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious. Food is good and staff are very helpful. Great spot for exploring the island - max an hours drive to all parts (Tecina golf and Valle de Gran Rey and Garonjay National Park were highlights).
