Beautiful Complex

Just back from the paradise park Hotel in los Cristianos. Had great week. Hotel lovely with fantastic cleaning service. Our rooms were cleaned daily and clean towels left every day. Food was good although did get a bit repetitive after a while. Very quiet at the pool and not alot for teenagers to do. Rooftop pool fantastic and very peaceful place to relax in. Good entertainment in Bar Yaiza every night. Stayed in Las Americas on previous trips to Tenerife and found it alot livelier. The staff at the hotel were lovely and very helpful. Would go back if only going as a couple without children.

Reception staff were helpful and friendly, the roof terrace is for adults only, no screaming children, the sun beds were extra wide for comfort, the only problem was the hot tubs were not very warm, possibly as they were doing maintaance on the pool beside it. The food was excellent, everything you could think of for breakfast and supper. The hotel is clean and rooms large and fantastic views. We had a junior suite with a bedroom and 2 sofa beds in the lounge, it is close to all bars etc would go again.

Review of 'PARADISE PARK'
15 April 2007
This hotel is situated at the end of Los Cristianos but has magnificent views out to sea from the rooftop-which has huge sunbeds, a pool and two jaccuzzis. It is also attached to the Spa which is excellent with peace and quiet if you want to unwind. The personnel in the hotel are very courteous and polite, as is the maid service which kept the rooms clean and tidy. Restaurant was also kept clear of dirty plates and a very good choice of food at every meal time. This was our second time at this hotel and would definitely go back.

We chose this hotel after reading the reviews and were very please with the standard of accommodation. We chose bed and breakfast and there was plenty of choice, but not always that hot, but we did see a microwave so it could be re-heated. The pool was very clean and warm; we did not use the spa facilities. Evening entertainment was very good. We walked to the town for our evening meal, which took aprox 20mins, but well lit and easy walking and plenty of restaurants to choose from. All in all a nice relaxing week.

Review of 'PARADISE PARK'
01 February 2007
We stayed at Paradise Park for 4 nights after reading positive reviews. We requested to be in the hotel rather than the apartments and were happy with the standard of our accommodation. The staff at reception were helpful and happy to provide information on excursions, bus timetables and booking taxis.
We were on half board. The food in the hotel restaurant was buffet style for breakfast and dinner - there was a wide range of choice but the same choices for every meal and it did get repetitive after a couple of days. However the hotel does cater for large numbers of people at mealtimes and we did not expect it to be gourmet standard.
When we arrived we received a voucher to dine at the 'Atlantida' restaurant next door for 12 Euro per person for 3 courses. We did so one evening and had a fantastic dinner sitting out on the balcony. I would highly recommend eating at this restaurant at least once during your stay. There is also a swimming pool and spa complex there which hotel guests can use - we didn't as the weather wasn't too hot, but it looked lovely.
The hotel also has its own spa and offers yoga and pilates classes, steam room, jacuzzi and massages. I was treated to an aromatherapy massage - 50 Euro for one hour - and it was fantastic. You could easily spend a morning or afternoon relaxing there.
The hotel puts on entertainment every night in the Yaiza Bar - which can vary from magic shows, to karaoke nights. The cocktails are worth a try and there are table football and pool tables for the competitive types.
We didn't use the hotel pool but the pool area looked good, and the hotel is only 15mins walk from Los Cristianos beach.
All in all a very satisfactory stay.

We travelled in a group of nineteen people including 8 parents kids from ages 1 up to 17. The hotel, restaurant, bars and pools are very nice and the staff were pleasant and helpful. However we stayed in the apartments and these were pretty standard and basic and to be fair a bit drab. They were clean and tidy and were cleaned every day. The restaurant food is very good but does get a little bit repetative. The hotel rooms are 4 star - but alas not the apartments. There's not a lot for the kids to do, particularly during the day as the swimming pools are very cold. We spent a fair amount of time around the Atlantida pool where the snacks and drinks are pretty reasonble for a hotel. To cater for the kids we spent a number of days on Christianos beach which is very nice. It's a 15 minute walk into Los Christianos - downhill. At the end of the evenings we returned via taxi - at appx. 5 or 6 euros. The New Years Eve Gala was fantastic. It's not cheap at 120 euros but that included a superb meal and all drinks from about 7.30pm up until well after midnight(1am) when there is an incredible firework display and champagne aplenty for all. A must if staying at new year. I would definately return again but not with the kids. All in all a nice hotel and facilities but the apartments require a bit of attention.

We stayed at Paradise Park for one night before taking ferry to La Gomera. The stay was very pleasant with friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable and we had an excellent breakfast before our onward journey. A week later, the timing for the ferry and our flight meant a six hour stay in Los Christianos with our suitcases. We 'took a chance' and returned to Paradise Park and explained our situation. The response can only be stated as being EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE, we were told that there was no problem, we were given a key for the luggage store and offered use of a courtesy room for a shower prior to our departure for the airport. We offered payment for this service, which was refused with the comment that 'they hope to see us again'. They certainly will. Thank you PARADISE PARK.

Review of 'PARADISE PARK'
19 October 2006
We have just returned from a week at the Paradise Park with mixed emotions. Our first apartment was awful! No airconditioning meant the cramped room was stiflingly hot. The website says that there is airconditioning & I would never book anywhere unless there was. I also decided to leave my hairdryer at home as the website says there would be one in the room - Wrong! After two days of begging we were allowed to move to another apartment, still with no aircon, but as it was a lot roomier it wasn't too bad. Lo and behold there was a hairdryer, unfortunately I'd already had to go out and buy one. We spoke to three other couples who had requested moves also. The website says that this is an adults only hotel, another reason for booking it - don't be fooled, it isn't. The hotel was pretty clean although our floors were not swept. The quality & choice at breakfast was good, but we struggled to find a cleared table every morning. The hotel is in the process of refurbishment, there was quite a bit of noise from this, but it didn't spoil things. I would think twice before returning unless I was guaranteed exactly what I asked for.

I have been to this hotel every year for the last 9 years and always found it to be good until this year I requested a room overlooking the pool which last year was wonderful. On entering the room it was tatty, wallpaper was scratched and in parts missing, the fridge when you opened it moved off its plinth, the furniture was tatty with veneer missing and last but not least there was a terrible smell Going on the balcony and sitting down you could not see the surrounding area as they have put another rail and MDF white solid boards in front of the balcony so once you sit down on you cannot see anything other than these boards which makes it very enclosed so no point requesting a room overlooking the pool! they have carried this through to the whole of the hotel and in my view ruined the look of it it used to be beautiful. On my complaint our room was changed to one that was passable, after saying all this I have to say now the food was, as always,to a very high standard and there is no reason for people to come out of the restaurant hungry, lets hope it will always remain so. Would I go back, probably.

Stayed at this hotel several times and would recommend it to anyone, very clean and the pools are excellent also the food is to a high standard with plenty of choice.Only negative point is that the rooms decor is pretty dated around 1970 however again clean and well maintained. Some distance to the beach and the main resort area situated up a steep hill however shops and bars are only a short walk just across the road, nice peacefull area.

I would recommend Paradise Park to anybody. All of the staff are friendly and extremely helpful.A welcome gift of fresh fruit and a bottle of wine are placed in your room for your arrival. The food was exemplary as was the choice. There is also an a la carte restaurant on site
The hotel bars are great if you decide not to venture out in the evening.
All area's of the hotel were kept very clean and the rooms were of a reasonable size, there are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms though so make sure you take your travel kettle etc.
The pool areas are lovely and there is also jaccuzi. Taxis to the nearby town's are very reasonable
If you do not wish to venture too far from the hotel there is a good choice of bars and restaurants close by.There is also a new shopping Mall which is due to open this year.
We had a wonderful time at the Paradis Park and I would definately go there again.

Review of 'PARADISE PARK'
07 November 2005
My partner and I stayed at the Paradise Park Hotel for a week between 29th October and 5th November 2005. The hotel was undergoing some minor refurbishments at the time which prevented access to some facilities such as the roof top pool. However this didn't prevent a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is very large with access to 3 pool areas - one for families, one for adults only and a "luxury" area with open air massage available at a cost. The weather was excellent with the exception of 2 cloudly days, the staff were helpful and curteous and the buffet style restaurant was excellent. We opted for the half board basis. The food selection was excellent, the restaurant was clean, and although a minor point, the chefs wore face masks which was a nice touch. The gym is fairly well equiped although the equipment is a little dated. That said, its not most peoples idea of a holiday so it sufficed for a couple of work outs. The location is convenient, with the beach approx an 8 minute walk. A taxi will take you to the main shopping area, airport or lively areas of Las Americas in less than 10 minutes at very reasonable costs. The rooms were a little more basic than expected being quite small but they were more than adequate given the time spent in them. The entertainment is ok. The "adults" bar has live music of a contempary nature and the "disco" provides entertainment for kids. Overall, my stay was very relaxing and worth every penny and I would consider it again. Please feel free to email me with any questions.

Booked this hotel on the internet, firts time i had done so, I was a bit sceotical until we arrived. The outside of the hotel was lovely and clean and were met by very friendly staff. Contrary to the description upon booking which says it is adults only there were some children there, which however was not a problem as there are two pools one for families and one for adults. In addition to this what was not advertised upon booking was the the elegant and luxurious SPA just around the corner which as a resident at the hotel you got free entry!! This was a hidden little gem nice and quite with two pools to dive into! The food at the hotel was fantastic however with being Los Christianos there are numerous other restaurants within walking distance which all offer great value for money and fantastic food. The hotel itself is nice open and airy with very friendly staff. Having stayed for ten nights we are already planning ongoing back and we will be staying at the PARADISE PARK!! I would recommend it to anyone even my MUM and trust me she is fussy!!!! Enjoy it.
