other hotels should look and learn
13 February 2006
My wife and I visited this hotel in April 2004 for three nights on a trip around the world. We arrived in the hotel and was met by a Thai receptionist. I dont know where she came from but she welcomed us into Thailand, booked us in our accommodation in seconds.
The room was excellent , facilities like tea making facilities (which are becoming rare in Europe so as to encourage you to buy food and drink in the hotel)andf the decor was very impressive. We used the pool which was near the top of the hotel
and it was very clean .the staff brought you over cold towels and bottles of water in the heat of the day.
The hotel is in a great location , ideal for the markets and nightlife. The restuarants food was excellent especially the buffet breakfast which catered from all continents.
If you visit Bangkok , make an effort to stay at this hotel and you will see how excellent the customer service and staff operate. Its a pity that all 5 star hotels are not run like the Pan Pacific
