Fantastic Hotel

06 September 2007
What a fantastic Hotel the staff are so helpful and freindly and the hotel itself and its amenities are second to none. You really get a 5* service and the food is beautiful. We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis and was not diappointed at all I've nevere seen so much food in my life for a breakfast buffet! The kids really enjoyed it with the kids club for the little one of 5 yrs and a games room for the 10 yr old. Would definitely recommend it to a family and thinking about booking for nect year and we have just this week come back.

Review of 'PALM BEACH'

Very child friendly, staff all helpful and welcoming.
Garden bungalow enough to sleep 4, but no playstation as advertised. Good beach, swimming pools. Let down a little by a lack of supply of beach / bath towels - hence 4 out of 5. Would most definitely stay there again. Just a small note, that I had to change my booking at the last moment, and alpharooms did this with great speed and efficiency.

Review of 'PALM BEACH'

Once your thru Larnaka Dekelia is signposted so it was easy to find. 2 night stay and then 1 night stay at the end as we have friends in Paphos we were staying with.First impressions, plenty of carpark space, Reception really nice and staff friendly and helpful. Quick check in with the voucher. We opted for a non sea view room which meant we overlooked the front of the hotel but it was still pleasant and quiet. It was nice to have our own safe in our rooms, TV was Ok but not much in english although some of the late films were in English with subtitles. There were 3 of us so one bed was a put-u-up which wasn't too bad as long as you weren't over 6 foot tall. Bathroom was well stocked with shampoo etc and there were even towels for the beach and indoor pool. We had a good wander round and the facilities were excellent ands it was lovely to have the beach just outside. We were half board so looking forward to the evening meal which was 4 course and we definitely got a 5 star service. The food was excellent and trhe staff really nice and attentive. We were lucky to be there on Valentine's day so we were invited to a cocktail reception by the management staff. We were served with many glasses of champagne and canapes before our meal. Arriving later at the restaurant all the ladies were given a single red rose. On the table we were given a scroll of the history of St Valentine and again the 4 course meal was excellent.  Although there was no childrens menu readily available they did offer to cook something special for the children. Breakfast in the morning was buffet style. Again the waiting staff was excellent and came and asked us what beverage we wanted as soon as we sat down.  There was so much breakfast items to choose from hot or cold. Didn't get time to use the pool but we did look and it was warm. Gym room was well equipped too. Just to mention that outside the hotel opposite on the main room there were some bars and a couple of supermarkets.  We did go to the bar opposite by the pedestrian crossing and we did get a very warm welcome from the owners there who although born in Cyprus had been living in London but returned to Cyprus a few years ago.
When we did return on the night before our flight home we did upgrade our room to a sea view which was easily done with no trouble.
All in all in was an excellent experience and I would sau 4 star plus.  I would recommend this to anyone and would love to go agai
