Palm Beach

The Palm Beach is more like an apartment complex than a hotel - there are about six two-storey blocks stretching back from the beach (which is long and sandy but can be a bit breezy). There is a pool, restaurant and supermarket all on site. Some facilities are shared with the Corfu Plaza.
The reception staff spoke good English and were very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are large and well-equipped with bath, balcony and TV (N.B. 20 euros deposit for remote control). Buffet breakfast was excellent. Dinner finished at 9 which I found a bit early but there is a good choice of restaurants in the resort within about 10 mins walk. (I would particularly recommend Le Bistrot - excellent food reasonably priced and a nice garden overlooking the sea.)
Overall it's hard to fault the Palm Beach - I would definitely stay there again.
