This Place was Priceless

We'd been in Los Christianos as part of a much bigger group for 10 days, but thanks to flying back a couple of days later needed a bed for the night. This place seemed perfect on the website and very good value. We arrived expecting a twin room but infact got a 1 bed appt, which seemed to be very recently redecorated. We quickly realised we were the youngest guests at the complex - our combined age of 53 was younger than any other single guest, infact it seemed to be full of very elderly French Tourists. The place offers all inclusive including entertainment (from scrabble and cards to waterpolo - more of that later!), and we were kept awake the first night by the Flamenco show, in the bar just outside our apartment, watched by a crowd older than our grandparents. The next day the reps involved us in the games, including darts and scrabble (en Francais bein sur!). It was great fun, but slightly surreal, but maybe that's what you get for staying in a complex block booked out to another tour operator in mid January! The pool was big and clean with plenty of sun loungers, sadly none of the other guests were up for the organised waterpolo game so we didn't actually use it.

Relaxing Oasis

If a relaxing holiday is what you're after,then Don Pedro is the place I'd recommend. Nestling in Lush Tropical Gardens on The south of the Island.Don Pedro offers basic,clean accommodation,good food & friendly staff. Good facilities(Swimming Pool,Pool Bar,Nightly entertainment and friendly staff. My Girlfriend & I spent a Lovely week there.Despite arriving in the early hours of the Morning,the night staff(especially Luis the Night Manager) ensured that we received a warm welcome and ensured that we were happy. The Hotel is situated in Costa Del Silencio,which is a quiet,mainly residential area,served by good bars & restaurants.Good Bus connections to the "Hustle & Bustle" of Las Americas or the More Spanish Los Cristianos,quite nearby. in short..If a relaxing Budget Holiday is what you require,then Don pedro is well worth a visit.

We enjoyed very much our stay in Palia Don Pedro.The room was good and the food was excellent.The city, Costa del Silencio, was nice, quiet and peaceful.

three days before traveling i read 3 disparaging reports of the hotel. bad staff poor food basic accomadation nothing to do in the evening i found the staff helpful a good variation in the food it could have been a little hotter. the room was basic for me that was no problem there was different entertainment each night rooms were cleaned everyday.los christianos was a 15 mins bus ride bus every 20 mins 64p each way last bus back 11.30 pm.
english bars nearby.for a two star rating this holiday was good value.you only get what you pay for.i have never had 5star treatment when paying a 2star price.
