en général c'était bien à Oura parque, l'accueil était magnifique, mais un effort à faire concernant : - le ménage de l'appart au moins 3 fois par semaine - revoir la propreté de la piscine - mettre à disposition plus de matériels électroménagers ( cafetière, mixeur par exemple) - mettre à dispo une télé de taille plus grande (au moins 32') les enfants et nous même avons gardé de bons souvenirs là bas A refaire

Go every winter for long stay and these apartments are great. Easy access to strip, beach, shops etc. Kitchens fully equipped and staff very helpful and friendly. Good for sunbathing round the pool or on the balcony. Walkers bar outside is very friendly and has internet access. Been here lsst 5 years and booked for year after next.

Juat returned from a week in Albufeira. We took a taxi straight from the airport (43 euros) to the Hotel where you collect your keys from, where they then transferred us in a minibus to Oura Parque complex. It wasnt too much inconvenience but it does seem a bit of an odd arrangement. We didnt really know what to expect as the reviews we had read where rather mixed, but we were pleasantly suprised. Very spacious 2 bedroomed apartment overlooking the pool and gardens. It was clean and the apartment had a burglar alarm. There was a safety deposit box in the wardrobe but we had no key to it but with the alarm and shutters we felt it to be pretty secure. Great location for the strip only a couple of minutes walk and a great bar at the front of the apartment site called Walkers bar who do an excellent English Breakfast! If I to return to Albufeira I would definately use this accommodation again.

We thought the apartments were lovely. Make sure you get dropped at the other site to collect your keys and the reception there will arrange you free transport to the aprtments. Your accomodation confirmation has the address. When you go you can just leave your keys in the apartment and head off. The apartment was clean and spacious and very quite, the picture of the pool doesn't do it justice although it's very cold! the main strip is only 2 minutes walk so you're straight into the hussle and bussle of the town without being disturbed by noise at night. the old town is worth a visit and if you don't mind a bit of a walk you can reach it by walking right along the beach, there are some low cliffs that may stop you at high tide but you can walk up and round. probably a 30-40 minute walk but the beaches are soo lovely it will fly by. alternatively get the road train for a couple of euros. The Blue Sky restaurant (you'll pass it as you walk to the strip) does really brilliant food at a reasonable price (beware on the strip meals can be over priced) the best place to get a fry up is Walkers Bar right out the front of the aparetments. i would definitely reccommend staying at these apartments

August 2007 Heed the warnings about the keys not being available on site and the reception being closed down. The keys are available from another apartment complex about 2 miles away. The owner of Walker’s Bar (at the front of the apartment site) kindly phoned for the keys for us but it is not his responsibility. Apartments, pool and pool area are very clean and spacious and only a 2 minute walks from the Strip for bars and restaurants. Do catch the “Noddy Train” to old Albufeira, it is a much more pleasant side of Albufeira compared to the Strip and has far more bars and restaurants. The whole Algarve coast seems to be row upon row of apartments. Hire a car if you want to do some walks and get out of “apartment land”. Car hire (I checked several on the Strip) – best I found - walk up the strip (away from the sea) to the main road, turn left before crossing this main road, about 100/200 yards is a row of shops, about in the middle of the row is a car hire shop. They do deals the number of days the car is hired. Restaurants – cannot remember the name but walk towards the Strip and it is the last restaurant on the left, before the disc/night club. Great food and wine and cheap.

I have just returned from a weeks holiday in Albufeira, staying at the Oura Parque. It was a cheap option therefore really not expecting alot for my money. The location was good, close to the strip and a short walk to the beach. On arrival at 7pm there was nobody available to greet us or show us to our apartment (even after requesting a late check in) I had to ask at a local bar if there was anybody around. They kindly gave me the telephone number of an office which was across town. We waited only a short time for someone to arrive and let us into our accomodation, that was the last we saw of anyone. Our towels were changed twice in a week, the beds were not made or changed (childrens bedding on the beds) the apartment was not cleaned and we had to supply our own toilet rolls. On leaving we were not given any information as to when we should vacate the room or were we should leave the keys. There was never anyone in the office over the road which seemed permanently locked. Friends of ours were staying in different accommodation, paying slightly more for a much better standard. I am not a fussy person by any means but I shall not be returning to Oura Parque.

This is the best accommodation we have stayed in in the 4 times we have been. There were no faults on the apartment which was large and well equipped. The garden and pool were great and clean. Maid came and cleaned and changed towels every 3 days. The only word of warning so to speak is the keys are not held on site. The reception is not open and has moved to another part of town.If you arrive late you may not get access to your room that day ,we arrived around 10.15pm and asked in the little bar outside the block and they called the key holder. There is a holding breakage deposit of 100 euros which we didn't know about . Also the apts have burgular alarms which is good and the safety deposit box in the wardrobe was alarmed so you really are safe and secure. I certainly recommend the apartments and will go again.

Me and my friedns booked this holiday on a whim and our choices were governed primarily by price. Oura Parque was cheap and so seemed to fulfil all of our requirements. We had few expectations but were overwhelmed on arrival by the quality of the accommodation. Everything was absolutely perfect, in terms of the apartment itself, the exterior of the building, the communal areas, pool, gardens and location. The rooms were clean and spacious and the location private and quiet. However we were only 5 minutes from the 'strip', where all the bars and restaurants are located and only 10 minutes from the beach. The atmosphere in Albufeira is lovely and relaxed, with everyone there to have a good time rather than drink themselves in to a stupour. Families with children mixed with young people like ourselves and older couples also. I would highly recommend Oura Parque to any traveller, and would particularly advise the discerning eater to give Koala Gardens a visit, the kangaroo steak was absolutely divine.

I was very impressed with the apartment we stayed in, the rooms were tidy and living room area spacious.

The balcony's have a great view, and the swimming pool is 30 seconds away.

The location of the aprtments were spot on, as it's close to local shops, a few minutes walk from the bars and beach, but also nice and relaxing.

I found the staff really helpful and freindly, and other holiday makers were chilled and up for a laugh.

I would def go back again.
