We are situated in Matauwhi Bay, a flat 10 minute stroll from Russell village, where you will experience some of the finest cafés and restaurants in the bay. Our immaculately restored villa (circa 1894) is testament to superb colonial NZ craftsmanship and one of Northlands finest examples of an early NZ Kauri farmhouse. Enjoy the wrap-around verandahs in the summer months and the large guest lounge with open fire in the winter. Staying in our guestrooms will take you back to a different era. With their individual decor, traditional hand-made patchwork quilts, brass beds, and fresh flowers picked from our garden to greet you on arrival. Enjoy the comfortable lounge, with tea and coffee available all day, television, magazines, a wide selection of books and the daily newspaper.
