What our customers say

Last year my wife and I arrived in Hawaii on our honeymoon. We had not pre-booked any hotel and simply roamed the island on our first day looking for a suitable place to stay. After a few hours we "discovered" the magnificent Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel. Situated close to the centre of Honolulu, and right on the beach, the hotel was the perfect place for us to start our honeymoon and our married life. We simply loved the room and facilities (especially the restaurant), and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Also the beach, which was literally a one minute walk from our room, was simply amazing.

The hotel is also an excellent base from which to explore Oahu. It is situated in the eastern side of Honolulu close to the interesting Diamond Head and on the eastern extreme of Waikiki Beach. It allows you to be close to everything in Honolulu while allowing you to be far enough away from the city centre to avoid the worst of the traffic.

OK, so maybe we are biased because we were on our honeymoon and everything in life seems great when you're on your honeymoon; but I, and my wife, cannot hesitate in recommending the Otani Hotel to anyone. If you like a friendly, welcoming, high quality hotel, with excellent food and an awesome beach, then you will love this place. We did not stay in this hotel for the duration of our stay due to cost. It is an expensive place to stay, but of all the hotels we stayed in during our magical week and a half in Hawaii, the Otani was clearly head and shoulders above the rest, and worth the extra expense. Enjoy!
