We were looking for the cheapest accommodation (without a tent) possible for a 2 night stay so that we may spend a whole day Aguastortes National Park.
Or Blanc Hotel is great value in comparison to the other places around Espot and surrounding villages. It is about 2km out of Espot, offering pleasant views of the surrounding farmland, mountains and Espot itself.
We paid 52 Euros a night for 2 people in a double room with breakfast. Breakfast was a simple affair with toast, yogurt, prepackaged pastries and bacon or omlet. Dinner is 12 Euros each for a set menu (3 courses) and worth every cent. The staff spoke very little English but despite this they were always polite, helpfull and patient with us.
The rooms are a little tired but pleasant enough with a nice bathroom. I don't think they have double beds though and the walls are a little thin.
I think in winter this place would be hugely popular, more expensive and incredibly noisy as there is a ski slope and 2 chair lifts almost right outside the front door.
