Just back from 2 weeks at the Omar. Basic, but clean accommodation. Staff friendly & obliging. Only let-down is lack of kitchen facilities - kettle, toaster... all available to rent at fairly high prices - should be provided in 2009 as basic supplies. Apts. next to <a href="/omar_in_puerto_rico.aspx" title="Omar">Omar</a> supply all kitchen facilities. Pool Bar not open at all for our stay - while apts. next to us had pool bar & restaurant day & nite. Bad news for pool-side lovers. Good central location for both beach & nite-life, but lots of steps to climb up to it, but get used to it after while. Not for anyone who likes early nights - noise from the S.C. Clubs will keep you wide awake until 4-5 a.m. If you can't beat them, join them. Would return again to <a href="/omar_in_puerto_rico.aspx" title="Omar">Omar</a> - cheap & cheerful for younger, fit clientele. May be back again.
