Oceanis Beach Resort

Peaceful location.  Brilliant views across the Aegean to mainland Turkey. You can sit at the poolside restaurant at night and watch the ferry from Rhodes head into Kos harbour.

Very impressive entrance to the hotel grounds with palm trees and lovely fountain. Staff are very welcoming and very helpful.  Hotel is well laid out with a series of courtyards with beautiful plants and fountains. Grounds are well maintained.  Plenty of sun loungers available both at poolsides and beach areas.

Poolside restaurant is reasonably priced but could do with a bigger variety of meals and snacks.  Main restaurant has a bigger variety of meals but is only open in the evening.

Bedrooms are well furnished with comfortable beds, cupboard space and fridge, etc.  Our only quibble is that the air conditioning is turned off centrally on 30th September.  However we did ask for a fan for the room and this was provided free of charge.  Maid service is excellent.

The hotel is a bit further out of town than we had imagined but there is a bus stop directly outside the hotel and the service is frequent and reasonably priced.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning and were allocated a room overlooking the front of the hotel and asked for a sea view room the following day and were moved the next day.  We also asked if we could keep our room on at the end of our stay as we were not leaving until 11pm and this was given free of charge, since it was end of season.  We couldn't praise the staff enough for their help.

We will definitely recommend the hotel to others and will definitely book again.
