Occidental Coral Beach

Excellent Hotel,
worth going half board as hotel food is above average.We had Fillet steak, lobster, crayfish,Pork lion,salmon. starters and sweets are self service main dishes are waiter served.

Rooms are very clean, pool area is average but no problems getting sunbeds , all the staff are friendly and very helpfull.

This is a very expensive area, if eating outside be carefull as the restaurant prices are very expensive,drinks are also a bit steep Vodka&Coke and a pint is 10 euro.

Location is the big dissapointment, if you have transport then it is ok.

The location of this Hotel is not suitable if you have any dissabilities or have problems walking, there is no where to walk..

There is a small walkway which is hard packed sand but if walking to purto banus which is about 20min, there is no continuous walkway, there is a stretch of beach with very loose sand about 180 yrds to negotiate before you reach the promanade at Purto Banus.The pavement on the main road ends at the connection to the dual carraigeway. The only way to get into Purto Banus at night is by Taxi costing about 12 to 14 euro. Marbella is about 1hr 20min walk but there is no lighting at night.
