Oban Bay Hotel

I stayed at the Oban Bay Hotel on Saturday 22nd March 2008 for Easter. The Hotel was great, staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to help you. The hotel offers spa facilites which were a real treat. The outdoor hot tub had excellent views over the bay which was lovely. The hotel has a restaurant although I never ate there. I had a look at the menu which looked really nice. I did have my breakfast there the next day which was very nice and had plenty of choice. The hotel was very clean. The only thing that dissappointed me was that the room was quite small. We had asked for a sea view, however weren't given one. I can understand this as I am sure everyone who stays there asks for this. The hotel was situated away a little from the centre. We had travelled by train and there were more hotels nearer the station than this one. It would have been better for us to have stayed nearer the station. If you don't mind the walk it's fine though. All in all the hotel itself was very nice and I would recommend it to any one visiting Oban.
