oasis aug 2008
22 August 2008
We had a fantastic stay at the oasis. We found the food out of this world and catered for all requirements. The hotel was very clean and only a few minutes from the town centre. The only downfall was some of the reception staff were abrupt and on occasions rude such a shame otherwise it would of been perfect.

Oasis Tossa 22-30 june 08
07 July 2008
This hotel is a typical Spanish 4-star. The pool was children-friendly. We had a graet stay, though the food lacks variety. It's just so many ways you can serve pork (;-|) No spices at all. Staff speak very little english, but were helpful. Clean rooms. Will reccomend it.

Oasis Tossa June 08
18 June 2008
Good quality hotel of usual Spanish 4* arrangement. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. There were always plenty of sun loungers around the pool. Indoor pool nice and warm if the outside pool is too cold. The food is of good quality but can lack variation. The hotel is situated in a residential area opposite a childrens nursery which can be noisy. The beaches are 5-10 minute walk depending on which you go to. There seem to be a lot more older couples at this hotel than young couples or children. Tossa is a nice old Spanish town with lots of small streets and shops to explore.

Fab Value for money
02 June 2008
Eight of us stayed for a week in this hotel and had a fantastic stay the only gripe we had was the cost of drinks and the lack of staff serving and preparing the drink/snacks which sometimes left you waiting for long periods, 1hour for a coffee on one occasion! This wasn’t at all to do with the bar staff just a lack of numbers.
The hotel staff were very happy and very helpful the room’s were clean and slept three with comfort the food was good and had something for everyone in our party.

tossa de marr is beautifull and charming
20 May 2008
tossa de marr is a beautifull resort with loads of great tapas bars, and no karaoka bars.i think june july august is best time for the casta brava.flew into girona and has a great bus set up,so save cash on not using taxes. the hotel was very clean, but the rooms had no sound proofing at all. food was fine and varied, pool area was above average, with a life guard. will be back at tossa de marr again, a hidden jewel.

Stayed here for 4 nights at the end of April and had a great time. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the food, for a buffet, was excellent. Plenty of choice and the freshly cooked 'show cooking' was a bonus. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area about a 10 minute walk from the centre of the resort. The resort itself is amazing, and a visit to the old town is a must. Can't wait to return again soon.

top marks for a good quality hotel, had an excellent holiday. The staff were very helpful and efficient, kept the hotel spotless.Special mention for Antonio who helped me with my diet as I am a coeliac, he even had the kitchen cook gluten free meals for me when required.
At the price we paid it was an absolute steal.

Review of Hotel Oasis Tossa

this was our 3rd time at this hotel.Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff.Daily maid service so rooms always clean.Food plentyful BUT how many ways can pork be served,it was on the menu every single night during our 10 day holiday. We would have given it a five rating but for the choice of menu (PORK)

Just returned from a lovely holiday in Tossa de Mar, the first time we had been there. Loved the resort. The hotel was very good, clean and airy and the staff were always very pleasant. A couple of things we would have changed, it would have been nice to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the room, we did pay extra to hire a fridge, bit pricey at 3 euros a day though. There was a wide choice of food, a very good breakfast but the meat and fish at dinner time proved to be overcooked, though the salads were varied and plentiful.
We also felt that the mini disco should have finished before 10.00 pm, there were very small children still on the go when it would have been nice to sit with a coffee in peace after your meal. Many older couples we spoke to thought it was too noisy. An earlier start time would maybe have encouraged the parents to eat earlier with their children leaving the dining room for those who wished to enjoy their meal in quiet.
We also used alpha transfers, well we did going, there were no problems, but coming home we confirmed the pick up time only to be still standing outside the hotel 50mins later with promises they were on their way but delayed in traffic, having only an hour to get to the airport before check in closed we took a taxi to ensure we caught out flight.

Review of 'OASIS TOSSA'- Another success
01 October 2006
This is the second time we have been to the Oasis Tossa and we are pleased that it has continued with its high quality of service be it accommodation, food or the friendlyness of the staff. An ideal hotel to be based when visiting the idilic Tossa de Mar which is a small picturesqe town that still has its roots in its fishing village past. Great Hotel, Great town that combines to always give a great holiday.

Very comfortable hotel. We all enjoyed our stay here myself ,my sister and our daughters aged 14 and 16. The food was delicious with plenty of variety and the dining room was friendly and relaxed. The hotel is situated quite close to all amenities but we found it quiet at night and all slept well. No complaints at all.( It would be nice to have a couple more English TV programmes-I know you dont go on holiday to watch TV but why do the Germans get all their programmes?). Tossa de Mar is a lovely resort and I would recommend it especially to families and couples.

Review of 'OASIS TOSSA'
14 May 2006
We are a couple in our late 40's but travelled with our daughter and her partner who are both in their early 20's - our stay was 4th-11th May 2006 - we all agree that this hotel is lovely in that the staff are all very friendly and quite fluent in our language - the hotel is clean with a daily maid service - the rooms are big enough with a lovely bathroom - it is a good walk to the beach so not suitable for the less mobile. As far as we are concerned the only downside was the food - it was plentiful but definitely not worthy of a 4 star hotel. There was pork cooked in various ways every single night and only ever one vegetarian dish. At alpharooms prices we would visit again but if we had paid High Street prices we would be complaining. I have to address alpharooms transfer services as its brilliant and went smoothly like clockwork.

We stayed at the OASIS TOSSA in October 2005 and found it to be an absolutely spotlessly clean hotel, considering the large number of guests the food was very good. The facilities e.g. Swimming pools, bar, entertainment were excellent. All in all, very good value.

22 September 2005
Excellent value for money. Rooms basic but clean, staff very pleasant & the food was extremely good value. We usually eat out on holiday but couldn't find anything as good value as the dinner buffet with wine at £5 a bottle & quite palatable. Equally good breakfast buffet. The pool area was very nice & the evening entertainment, whilst not for everyone, was available & free. Would suit more mature travellers who are mobile although the walk into town is only about 5 mins. Would go again!

A very good place to stay in TossaReview of 'OASIS TOSSA'
15 September 2005
The food was excellent. The rooms were beautifully kept-beds & towels changed every day. Staff extremely helpful. Pool & area immaculate - plenty of sunbeds & parasols available. Small downsides are:- "Lack of T.V. programmes in English" for rainy days and quite a long pull up the hill for anyone bad on legs, from the beach to Hotel. Nice quiet location and no traffic problems. Highly recommended!

Review of 'OASIS TOSSA'
20 June 2005
I went with a group of 11 people in June 05, 8 adults, 3 teenagers, the hotel was very clean, the rooms were kept immaculate, usually cleaned before returning from breakfast, The staff were extremely friendly and obliging, the hotel was full but quiet, no noisy kids misbehaving around the pool area where you were able to get sun loungers anytime of the day. My only criticism was the very poor selection of food for vegetarians, not usually a problem in Spain these days, but the overall quality of the food was excellent with a good variety to choose from, praise indeed from a chef. Check out the Don Juan bar just behind the seafront road to the right of the BIG church and in the next road back in a hidden courtyard a small bar run by 2 delightful sisters.
