The Norfolk Plaza Hotel is located in the cosmopolitan district of Paddington, London close to Hyde Park, Marble Arch, Oxford Street and London’s premier west end. The hotel is also only minutes away from Paddington Station and Heathrow Express. Norfolk Square is a quiet closed off garden square, surrounded by grade II listed historical Edwardian buildings. The Norfolk Plaza Hotel was converted from three such buildings in the 1970s. Guest bedrooms include en-suite, hair dryer, telephone, satellite TV, radio and hospitality tray. The hotel also offers guests a concierge porter, laundry and dry cleaning services as well as an air conditioned, well stocked bar which serves light meals. There is a buffet or continental breakfast offered at an additional charge, in the air conditioned breakfast room, or alternatively room service can bring this to your room. For business guests the conference centre can offer meeting rooms for small groups of up to 15 people. Lunch and/or dinner and delegate packages are available on request. Audio/visual equipment is also available on request.

The hotel was a bit cramped and old, but the friendly atmosphere compensated that. The staff was really helpful. I found the room quite small at the first glance, but after a while I got used to it. The bathroom was clean and functional with no complains. We slept well and I got my extra pillow. Things in the room were dated, but after a while I managed to get the fan working and I did no longer see the old-fashion curtains. Breakfast was ok, but not more. The location close to Paddington was excellent. And my son enjoyed the mints at the desk in the reception!
