A real surprise!

After reading some less-than-favourable comments, we didn't know what to expect.
What a surprise! We have nothing but praise for the helpfulness of the staff - including a charming manager, the food - plentiful, varied, nicely presented, the clenliness of the rooms, the excellent location. Anyone thinking of booking, have no hesitation; we'll cetainly return!

Have here a number of times for the past 20 years and must what a great hotel it is everyone are nice and friendly and rooms very clean they get a wide range of ages staying there and loads of people that stay there year after year.great place to stay

What a holiday

We have just returned from a holiday in Paphos and cannot speak highly enough of the Nereus Hotel. The hotel was clean, food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Although in our 70's we were made to feel at home with visitors of all ages and would certainly consider going back to the same hotel next year.

This was an excellent hotel. I would highly recommend it. The staff were extremely friendly and I felt a very homely feeling. The rooms were very clean although quite basic. The swimming pools were very clean and the gym facilities were also excellent. Breakfast had a wide variety. I cannot emphasise enough on how nice the staff were, they were extremely helpful and made my stay a lot more enjoyable. This hotel is definitely value for money and will be staying there again on my visits to cyprus.

Review of 'NEREUS'

We stayed at the Nereus over xmas and had a really good time. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were kept clean and tidy. Reception staff were brilliant and in particular a receptionist by the name of "Tunde". She went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Also the location was good and was within walking distance of the many shops, restaurants and the harbour. All in all, a very good value for money holiday and we will return sometime in the future. We would recommend this hotel.

The friendly Nereus

We stayed with a party of friends and had a really wonderful time. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were kept clean. The meals were very nice (not enough chips though!!!). I would definitely recommend this hotel. Also the location was good, it was near enough for the shops and beach. but away from the noise in the evening so you could sleep, if you wanted to.

Good value and in a convenient area for shops bars etc. Rooms clean and comfortable with very reliable maid service. Down sides were broken tiles in bathroom and very small shower. Most of staff were very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. Pools were lovely and clean although in my opinion rather too deep for young children and too close to bar area.
Breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice.
