Sound Choice

Comfortable, spacious clean rooms. Well organisied pool area with lifeguards on duty who stopped the booking of sunbeds with towels. Convenient for shops and beach. The beach is gravel but spotless and has it's own set of lifeguards. The latter are required as the sea has a big surf and is unsuitable for swimming -especially for young children. The evening entertainment is mainly for Spanish children but it didn't put us off having a very good time.

our gang stayed here for the first time for a week on 10th may till 17th.although it was my 26th visit to roquetas in 6 years this was the best hotel i have stayed in,i have stayed in loads of surrounding hotels but this was by far the best.linen changed every day, toweels every day.we stayed self catering but the rooms were that clean you could have eaten your dinner from them.super size pool, free sun beds, friendly staff at reception.my praises for this hotel is 10/10 and i would recomened anyone to stay there.book hotel from alpharooms.com and you have the complete week taken care of..roll on 30th august when we return..

Review of 'Neptuno'
09 October 2006
The hotel is very impressive from the outside and this image continues to be portrayed within too;minimalist chic, highly polished marble surfaces, lots of clean open spaces, plenty of lifts too.
Checking in was completely problem free due to the helpfulness and understanding of reception staff. If you do not speak Spanish it is not a problem since the staff are fluent in English. Equally the staff were all happy to wait whilst we struggled to communicate with our limited Spanish and always complimentary about our efforts.
The pool area is excellent with an abundance of sunbeds and it is patrolled by lifeguard for ten hours daily. For younger children there are 2 smaller pools, one undercover and the other outside separate yet adjacent to the main pool.
I cannot comment upon the food or entertainment as we ate out every night but there did seem to be something happening everyday.
We stayed in a two bedroomed apartment which could have accommodated five people although there were just three in our party. The apartment was cleaned daily with the offer of fresh bedlinen every other day too. My daughter commented that she would have enjoyed a bath although the shower room complete with bidet, toilet, large walled mirror, plug sockets and complimentary toiletries was absolutely fine for my husband and I.
The kitchen area provided lots of cupboard space with modern units. A two ring hob plus microwave were adequate although it would have been helpful if there was some form of conventional oven too, say with a combi oven. As with many apartments there wasn't a kettle but there was a coffee maker. Matching crockery and cutlery together with pots and pans were all in very good condition. A full size fridge freezer ensure we always enjoyed fresh food and refreshing beverages - lots of them!
A very pleasing experience all round.
