not too bad
21 July 2008
budget hotel. I stayed one night at the Nautico Ebeso hotel with a couple of friends. The rooms are clean and spacious. However the walls are made of paper as we could hear everything and more from the adjacent rooms. Our room was overlooking the ping pong table and swimming pool. I would recommend this hotel to people who have a small budget and low expectations as you will not be able to sleep much unless you bring ear plugs. At 9am the gardener started cutting the grass in front of our rooms.

Great Location, Basic Hotel
18 July 2008
excellent value.Stayed for 4 nights in july 08. first rom was double and at back of hotel with fire escape view, requested sea view and had to pay for upgrade, only 22euros per night more. Well worth it. rooms very basic but clean and serviced daily. really good location, pool and beach on doorstep. Great restaurants within 5min walk in figueretas and 10mins to ibiza town. Staff friendly enough and breakfasts were more than the usual continental. Pool bar offered very limited menu

good value
07 July 2008
A good value hotel offering simple comforts which are clean and spacious. The sea view rooms overlook the private swimming pool bar terrace and small beach. 10 minutes from Ibiza Town and a short stroll some fabulous restaurants overlooking Figueretas Bay which offer international cuisine of a very high standard. Food in the hotel is basic and typical. So long as you are not expecting luxury you will more than content in this smallish clean hotel

Not sure I like the Mature at 36!!!!
01 July 2008
Excellent position on the beach front. 10-15 mins walk into Ibiza Town. Myself & my partner are gay & there were at least 4 local gay bars & plenty more in Ibiza town. The hotel staff were very friendly & although not 5 star - neither are the prices!!! We would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget but want to be central to all the attractions.

ok hotel
26 May 2008
12 minutes walk to Ibiza center. Hotel staff is acceptable. Rooms are pretty clean, don't expect Hilton, but it fine for a place to rest. Beach is close by. Request sea view rooms as they claim the price listed here is for non sea view, so they gave us the sea view rooms as a special case (it was on the 3rd floor where view is partially blocked by trees). over all it was ok.

Stayed second time at Nautico Ebeso in July 2007. Very nice hotel with spacious rooms and good view and location. Only drawback are the walls which are quite thin... but so they are in all the hotels I´ve stayed in Ibiza

Wonderful
15 May 2007
Had a brilliant time in Ibiza, celebrating a friend's birthday - and Nautico Ebeso really was a brilliant place to stay. The pool and sun areas were perfect, the rooms spacious and facilities were well provided. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and it was all very laid back.I'd like to counteract Mrs E Johnson's review below about it's gay friendliness - I'm concerned that she would call it a drawback! The fact that the hotel is gay-friendly (why shouldn't it be otherwise? It didn't bother me that it was also old-lady friendly, or straight-couple friendly, or caucasian-friendly) added to the experience - meaning all guests could relax and feel at ease. It's neither a 'party hotel', nor is it a family hotel, nor is it a saga-holiday hotel. It has a nice-atmosphere which makes for the perfect base to see Ibiza Town and beyond. I'd recommend a sea-view room - it's well worth it!
Enjoy!

27 September 2006
STAYED AT THE NAUTICO 18TH TO 25TH SEPTEMBER 2006 FOUND THE HOTEL VERY COMFORTABLE, LARGE CLEAN ROOMS OVERLOOKING THE SEA, THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD WITH LOTS OF VARIATION AT BREAKFAST AND DINNER ALWAYS WELL PRESENTED AND OFTEN COOKED AT THE SERVERY SO YOU COULD SEE WHAT YOU WERE GETTING. THE HOTEL IS IN A NICE AREA QUIET AT NIGHT. HOTEL WAS IMMACULATE RIGHT THROUGH AND POOL AREA GOOD WITH NO PROBLEM GETTING SUNBEDS THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS IT IS VERY GAY FRIENDLY AND THERE WERE LOTS OF MALE COUPLES THERE AS THERE IS ALL OVER FIGUERETES

Stayed @ Nautico Ebeso 2 years ago, so decided to stay again as love the location, but definitely pay for a sea view.
However, this year we were very disappointed with the breakfast, the chef has changed (not very good with the hot food) & it seems the breakfast food standard overall has 'cheapened', ie no taste, the coffee/juice are absolute no no's, but thankfully a lovely small spanish tapas bar down the road serves wonderful coffee.
Would certainly go again, if only for the location & superb cleanliness of the hotel.

Staying in this Hotel with our friends was a fabulous decision! Check in was easy, staff friendly.Rooms were spotless.Being a very fussy eater, I normally only ever holiday self catering but the price was the same for half-board.Pulled a blinder, there was something for everyone.Lots of choice and a calm atmosphere in the dinner room, lots of nice people here! Other people staying have been coming back for years, seems like a well kept secret.Views to die for, only ten minutes walk into town.Smashing little Italian restaurant 100 yards away, what more can you want. All our party will definately be returning here sometime in the near future!!!

Really great location, overlooking the sea, close to reasonably priced restaurants and only a short walk/ taxi drive into Ibiza town. Very clean rooms with a safe and great air on/fan. The breakfast buffet is HUGE, everything you can imagine: eggs, cakes, cereal, really good. The hotel has a private pool area which is really quiet and relaxing and there is even a tiny beach too. Figueretas beach is just a 10 min walk away or you can take the bus to las Salinas, which is a much nicer beach.I was really impressed by the hotel, the only downside is the staff: not very friendly, they didn't even answer me when I said goodbye after checking out.

Enjoyed the stay in the hotel, although would never descibe it as "top drawer". All the facilities were of an adequate standard, for me the highlights of the trip were the freidnly staff (save for one exception). The restaurant staff always had a smile, the cleaners were very respuictful of any unusual schedules, the receptionists were very useful whenever we needed assistance in a wide variety of requests, and the bar staff were welcoming and good fun. The night porter (perhaps weakened by the late hour of our arrival) was perhaps the weak link in the "friendly chain".
The hotel is clean and well positioned, in a nice part of the island - close to a large range of restaurants. Although we went at was a quiet time anyway, my guess is that it does not get too noisy at the hotel or the surrounding areas - although we did find the early morning gardening a little too early on our lie-in monrings.
The pool was cold - but I guess it should be that way, whilst the Bar and TV area seemed to be of a decent standard.
Probably woudl not go back, but that is only becuase I am sure that there are others of a similar standard and I like change, but I would be more than happy to recommend hotel to others.
Enjoy your stay

The reception desk staff were barely able to crack a smile for us but I wouldn't let that put you off (The bar staff and room service had a slightly better attitude :O)
When we visited last week (28 May - 4 Jun '06) the hotel and the surrounding area was pretty quiet which was just what we wanted. At busier times there could be a problem with noise from adjoining rooms as we did on occasion hear our neighbours turning up their music in preparation to go out.
The pool area on the sea front was even more basic with plastic sunloungers (no cusheons) and a shortage or parasol stands (ok if you like a roasting). The staff weren't interested in helping to provide more parasol stands (there were plenty of parasols).
The buffet breakfast served between 8 & 10 was good but get your coffee elsewhere if you appreciate a decent brew. We only went the once due to the ridiculously early time slot!
Dinner was also available but we prefered to venture out to the many wonderful restaurants in Figueretas and the old town. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to suit a variety of tastes and lifestlyes right on the doorstep. One that we partiucularly enjoyed was Soleado (see http://www.ibiza-restaurants.com/soleado/). Ibiza Town is about a 15 minute walk away or there are plenty of cheap taxis (around 8 euro).
In summary, a basic value for money bright and clean hotel in an excellent sea front location (worth paying the extra for a sea view). Slightly miserable staff, possible noise problems from adjoining rooms.

Hotel is ideal for romantic couples wanting a quiet holiday and going for nice meals. Lots of nice walks to Ibiza town and Playa den bossa.Food in the hotel is very repeated and warm. Hotel drinks very resonable.Room very clean, leave towels on floor in the bathroom if you want them changed.Dont pay 20 euros for the remote for the tv, as you can use the buttons on the front. We payed 99 euros to have a sea view which overlooked figgeretts bay which was nice. Seems to be very popular with gay men. Watch out for dog poo as everyone in the resort seems to own a dog.You can catch the bus from Ibiza town to san antonio, but they are doing some road works at the moment and the place is like a bomb site. You can catch a boat from playda den bossa to Ibiza town for 3 euros. Overall would stay again in hotel, hopefully they start to heat up the food.

Enjoyed our stay at the Nautico Ebeso very much. We paid extra for a sea view room and it was well worth it as the views were fantastic. The room itself was large with a good sized balcony. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. There was a good choice of menu, both at breakfast and dinner and staff were very helpful. There is also a pool with a surrounding terrace for sun bathing. The hotel is well situated and being located so close to Ibiza town, provides a good base for touring the rest of the island. There are a number of restaurants in the area and there is a particularly good, small, local bar, Una y Dos, directly across from the front entrance to the hotel. We would go back again to Ibiza and in particular, the Nautico Ebeso.

well this was another succesful find through alpharooms. hotel is spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and efficient(although one receptionist a bit frosty). on a whole this hotel was fantastic, walk out on to the boulevard and only 2-3 mins walk from a selection of bars. seems to be popular with lots of couples of all genders! a lot of effort was put into the food each night and free cava offered on thurs! lol the only thing i would say is pay the extra for a seaview
1. its worth it
2. you are straight on to a small but semi busy road and some bars if you dont book seaview.
3. no balcony if no seaview booked.

A VERY CONVENIENT AND VERY CLEAN HOTEL MAYBE ONE OF THE BEST VALUE FOR MONEY IN THE IBIZA TOWN. THE FOOD QUITE GOOD. THE PEOPLE AT RECEPTION QUITE HELPFUL. THE ONLY QUESTIONNAIRE WAS THEIR STAFF OF THE BAR IN THE POOL. NEVERTHELESS A MEMORABLE HOLIDAY.

Have just returned after a 10 day stay at the Nautico Ebeso. The Hotel location is excellent - the view from the balcony is stunning. Thank goodness for the air conditioning though - essential during August in Ibiza. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed every day too.
The food (we stayed half board) was excellent although the Maitre D was very stand offish and disinterested. The waitresses were fabulous and more than made up for him plus they have a decent wine list.
All in all - you would be hard pressed to find a better 3 star hotel in Figueritas. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Nautico Ebeso was great. This is definitely a hotel that we would return to as well as recommend to others.
While the rooms are basic, they are very clean and the maid service is excellent. When you think about it, you really are not there to stay in the hotel so you would not need anything more in terms of a room. A minor issue is the walls are not very soundproof so you probably hear noises from others around you but still manageable.
The location cannot be beaten either. It is one of the very few hotels that has it's own private pool area right at the hotel on the water and if you so desire, the ocean beachfront is just steps off to the side also. In addition, it is the perfect combination of being able to stay at a beach resort and also be within a 15 minute walk of Ibiza Town to shop, go out, etc. With the hotel right on a beautiful strip of boardwalk, there are a multitude of restaurants to choose from for every taste.
The booking we paid for included both breakfast and dinner and we would definitely recommend that to anyone. Having the luxury of dinner also being taken care of is a great treat. We would say that the breakfast food tended to be okay (nothing great) but enough to start the day -- although we would recommend that they change their coffee as it was probably the only undrinkable thing. Dinners were much better and with a variety throughout the week so there was always something new and tasty!
Finally, for anyone considering this hotel, definitely upgrade to a sea view room. Nothing can compare to being able to wake up to the sound of waves from the ocean and see beautiful scenery. The other side of the hotel is just some buildings of no particular interest.

This must have been one of the best stays 'ever' and the most beautiful sights to wake up to from the balcony in any of the resorts that I've stayed at. I payed that little extra to have a sea view room and boy, was it worth it. Rooms are basic but as 3* rated, what more do you expect ? I will also state that my room was cleaned every day, and was absolutely spotless - nothing was left short of cleaning or towels.
The location was quite central to most of the shops, bars and restaurants in Figueretas, with a 20 minute walk to Ibiza town itself.
All staff were most friendly and very helpful at all times, especially the restaurant staff.
The standard of food available in the hotel restaurant for Breakfast and Evening meal was very good as you'd expect with the 'show cooking' and the buffet option and a various daily spread of International cuisine for every taste.
Overall, people might underestimate this hotel and underate what they are paying for. Stay there for yourselves and see what you are missing.

I have stayed at many more expensive hotels in ibiza and they have not been as friendly, clean and well located as this one. If you want to stay near Ibiza town and have a sea view then this hotel is good value and enjoyable. It is a bit basic but I have not found that paying any more in Ibiza has resulted in better service or better quality accomodation.
