Fantastic Hotel Highly recommended

14 October 2008
We have just got back from a two night stay at Hotel Nasco. This is a lovely hotel very clean and tidy the room we had was fab. The bathroom was also very nice. Had clean towels every morning. We even had a balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us with all of our questions. The hotel is slighty out of the centre but you can catch a 1,11 or 19 tram into the centre and to Duomo which is a must see. You can walk straight down Corso Sempione and you will come to Sempione park which is a lovley peaceful place, it is about a 20 minute walk. You can get tram tickets from reception 1 euro for one way ticket. There is a Co Op supermarket around the corner of the hotel. Take a right when you come out of the hotel and then first right again Co Op is on the left about 500m down the road. There are restaurants around the corner that are cheaper than in the centre of Milan. Overall an excellant break at this hotel and would come back tim and time again. :-)

Hotel Nasco - 7 had a great time

20 May 2008
Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, and have to say thoroughly enjoyed it. Relatively easy to get to from Milano fair, where bus from malpensa airport dropped us off.Hotel was clean, staff helpful, well situated, just a short tram or half hour leisurely walk to the city centre Duomo area. Lots of bars, restaurants around the hotel, some can be very expensive (£7.50 a bottle) however most were reasonable, good choice of nightlife within walking distance. also a short bus ride to the san siro, hotel staff sorted out tickets for us to see a game in a few hours, which was brilliant. Breakfast was excellent, varied choice. Only one downside that could hear trams outside early in the morning, and cars beeping at all hours as inter had won serie a that night! would definitely stay here again, had a great break, good value.

Hotel Nasco

20 June 2007
Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Was lovely. We arrived early, and they did everything they could to get our room made early, and we had it over an hour early. Staff very helpful on the whole. They love it when you try to speak the language, so if you can then go for it, they're ever so friendly. Our room was a double with an extra desk area, and big windows opening on to main road, which can be noisy if you're a light sleeper, so I would suggest you request a room at the back. Breakfast 7.30-10.30 which is great timings, and food was lovely, cereals, pastries, meats/cheeses and lots of fruit and yoghurt. The hotel is slightly out the centre, but if you walk straight down Corso Sempione toward the centre you will come to Arco della Pace, and through there is a park, which then leads to Castello Sforzesco. A good 90 minute leisurely walk. Drinks are very expensive everywhere, there is a supermarket just around the corner from the hotel, if you leave the hotel and go left, then take first left, and its at the end. It has everything you could need. Tram stop almost right outside. Use 1, 19, or 33 tram from around the corner of the central station. 1 and 19 will also take you straight to Il Duomo, which is a MUST SEE. Mini Bar very expensive. Cleaning staff very friendly, wil also say good morning, and theyre very efficient. Absolutely lovely. Definitely recommend.

Superb hotel. Spotless bathroom and room. We had a balcony with ours too! Staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was great. Eggs, meat - hot and cold, breads, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea, coffee!!! Although out of the city it's fun to ride the trams - HINT - buy your tram tickets from any newsagent at Central Station on arrival - 1 euro. Bus and metro great too. Duomo Cathedral is a must see. Drinks expensive wherever you go. The bars and cafes just up the road from the hotel are buzzing at night and well worth visiting. Very chic. Would visit again.

Nice Hotel

16 May 2007
Just got back from a lovely trip to Milan. Went to the san siro, which is well worth a trip if they is a match on (the Italians are very passionate). The hotel although out of the city centre, is only 20 minute walk to the park sempione. The hotel room was spotless and clean as was the bathroom with a good strong shower (the towels are nice and big). Only made breakfast once, but they was a large selection of goods with some hot food. The only negative, was that the room was noisy as the tram line goes past at frequent intervals (5 -10 minutes). Otherwise it helped to make Milan a superb trip.

Our stay at Nasco

06 May 2007
We can truly recommend a stay at the Nasco, the rooms were decorated lovely, with superb bathroom, the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help, the bed linen was changed daily, and the amount and variety of foods available for breakfast was amazing, It was a straight walk into Milan town itself which probably took about 30-45 minutes but was really pleasant through the park & castle and onto Duomo Square, but if you didnt want to walk the tram stop was just up from the hotel and ran till approx. 1.30am so no problem getting back., and only cost 1 euro, the hotel was excellant value for money and would definately stay again.

We are just back from Milan. Hotel spotless, rooms good size ( we upgraded to a superior twin for a small charge, so didn't see the basic room ) large on suite bathroom, bed linen changed everyday!! staff very helpful and friendly. Tram stops outside hotel so you can get to the sites (no 1) and central station ( no 33) Hotel about a 20 min stroll to the Castillo through the Park Sempione.Breakfast adequate.Quiet bar closes at 12.30 drinks not badly priced.A variety of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel but very small ok if you want a a pizza or sandwhich to keep you going, they are freshly made and very tasty. Would go back to the hotel.

Really comfortable hotel just 15-20 minutes walk to the centre. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, they were on hand throughout the stay to advise on transport, places of interest and booked transport and restaurants for us.  Great value and would definitely stay there again.

The Hotel Nasco offers excellent value for money. Situated approxiately 10 minutes by tram to the Duomo Cathedral and 15 minutes by bus to the San Siro football stadium.
The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and offered solutions to all our travel questions!
The hotel had a varied selection of continental breakfast foods, light bar snacks in the evening and an extensive menu for evening meals. If you choose not to eat at the hotel, there are a number of restuarants within walking distance.
The only downside is that the main tram line runs directly in front of the hotel. A little noisey, but good for getting around Milan!

Nasco was a very pleasant hotel, all the staff were friendly and the room was well equipped - very nice bathroom.  The surrounding area was nice too, although a bit spoilt by the road-works near by.  Milan was a lovely city, we went mainly for the football - the San Siro is a nice 30 minute stroll along a straight road or 10 mins on a bus which costs 1 euro.  The centre of Milan was easily reached in 10 mins by the trams that run past the hotel every 5-10 minutes.  The only negative piont was that we were a couple but we had a twin room which meant we either squashed into one single bed or slept seperately - apart from that, great value for money.

this was a great hotel didnt expect it to be half as good as it was for the price! must have been a classy place as the austrian ski team were staying there on route to tourin! our room was huge big bathroom with bath and shower, satelite t.v, mini bar (reasonable prices),hair dryer (wasnt very powerful tho!).you got all the usual free stuff shower gel shoe polish shower cap etc..... the room was very clean the towels  were changed every day and they were so soft and big not your usual postage stamp size! we had a really nice balcony too. breakfast was great we were just expecting toast and jam but there was hot food too eggs sausage etc. we never had any other meals at the hotel but what we saw looked good and the prices were reasonable and room service was no extra.BUT BE WARNED the night we got there we had 3 drinks each in the bar total of 12 small beers and it cost us 60 euro!!!!! so we didnt drink in the hotel again!
theres a tram stop rite outside the hotel takes about 8 mins to get to duomo where all the shops etc are ...have no idea how much the tram should be tho as we never paid! no one ever checked. we had a great time at the nasco staff were very friendly they arranged tickets for us to go to the football rang us taxis etc would deff go back again
