My wife and I spent a fantastic time in Seville during the last week of September. The hotel Murillo is in a great location in the Santa Cruz area, close to all the main attractions. It was clean and comfortable and the staff are pleasant enough. The breakfast was good and you can eat as much as you want.
We had a room at the front on the first floor which was small, but adequate. However the windows are single glazed and don’t fit too well. It is only 6 metres to the bar opposite so on the occasions we went to bed before it closed, it was very noisy. Noise from within the hotel is also a problem. Ear plugs are essential at this hotel.
As has been mentioned in other reviews, the shower cubicle is hideously small. There is nowhere to put anything and it’s impossible to bend down. It is also too easy to burn yourself on the tap as there is no room to move.
The Murillo is very reasonably priced and as such you don’t expect the height of luxury, but the problems with the windows & shower cubicle should be addressed.
