Over for carling cup final, found this hotel to be in the ideal location for getting around. Next to marble arch tube station. right in the heart of oxford st. staff very friendly and hotel spotless, they had our room ready at 10am which was great. Be aware that the hotel is being renovated at the moment, it didn't bother us as there was no noise while we were there. All in all it was a very pleasant stay. Highly reccomended.

Down for a show and wanted somewhere central. This certainly hit the mark in fact the only downside was the fact that being so central the room was noisy. That said it only disturbed my sleep the first night. Everyhting else was to be commended cleanliness, food service etc. Would certainly reccommend and come back again!

Good location, rooms clean, warm and quiet, staff very friendly and helpful. very pleased overall.
tip; if you are travelling from heathrow airport consider contacting the hotel prior to travel and requesting a quote for the airport private transfer service. We were offered a journey to heathrow airport for £35.00 on New Years Day. Not bad at all when you consider we paid £27.00 for the heathrow express and a further £3.00 for the bus.

Our stay at 'Mostyn'

Hotel was much better than I expected. It was clean, comfortable, friendly staff (non British which might explain why they were friendly), good facilities for the size of the hotel and excellent location. Only drawback was the nighttime noise of police and ambulance sirens - expected in London but double glazing would make a big difference.
Would definitely recommend it.

my friend and myself found this hotel absolutely marvellous, the location was perfect - just around the corner from oxford st and marble arch underground, the hotel staff were lovely, very helpful, in fact we found every member of staff exceptionally pleasant. The reception area was spotless and we were made to feel very welcome from the minute we stepped into the hotel. the bedrooms were spotless with lots of tea and coffee, when we were going out one night we asked if we could have more milk, and there it was when we arrived back at around 11.30pm. I must say they found nothing too much trouble. We will definatley use this hotel again and also recommend it to others. Many thanks Alpha rooms for using this accomodation

it is a very nice hotel. not only for its price but it is nice period. all the staff from the doorman to the ladies in the cleaning staff were very pleasant. the room was a pretty decent size for london and the hot breakfast in the morning was good, although no variation.
it is a very short walk to oxford street and it can get noisy at night with the cop cars and ambulances, but that is what it's like being in the middle of the city. what's good is that you can't hear any of the other stuff from the rooms beside.
i would definitely stay here again.
