What our customers say
We wanted a hotel close to the Sacre Coeur and this certainly fits the bill - a short walk up the hill and there it is! Fantastic.
The hotel was a little difficult for the taxi driver to find, but after that we found it to be a really convenient location. The nearest Metro stop (Chateau Rouge) is just a few minutes walk away, and the line it is on (#4) made it very easy to explore Paris.
We'd heard that rooms in Paris are small, and the room we had was no exception. There was barely room to get in and the bathroom was tiny with a small square shower cubicle that didn't allow for much movement. Having said that, we weren't planning to spend much time there, and the bed was fine to sleep in, so it was perfect for our needs.
There were a lot of German students (15-16 years old I guess) staying at the hotel while we were there (late-September) and they were quite rowdy as you'd expect any students to be. It also meant that breakfast time was quite busy.
Breakfast is simple - a croissant each, and tea and coffee replenished as many times as you need, and some half-baguettes in a basket. One piece of jam and butter and that's your lot! If you like to eat more than this, then you need to locate one of the many lovely Patisseries in the area.
Staff were generally friendly, and the rooms were kept clean and tidy. The lifts worked fine, and if you like to climb stairs then there was a windy staircase.
If we return to Paris (on an Australian budget), there's a good chance we'd use this hotel again, because it was OK for our needs and at least we know what to expect.
