this hotel was ok|

First impression of the hotel was great. On arrival the receptionist was polite and the apartment spotless. The housekeeping staff was also very polite. . The pool was great. We were there every day sunbathing. The rooms were clean and the cleaners was coming around daily. Overall the holiday and the hotel were fantastic, probably I will return there next summer!

Review of 'MONTERREY APARTMENTS'

My friend and I stayed at the Monterry Apartments in September 05 for 1 week.
Upon arrival we were very suprised at how big our room was! It was extremley spacious and could of easily slept 6 people, so there was more than enough room for all of our clothes and shoes which is always good!
The bar staff were extremley friendly and polite and the pool was clean.
The downside was that it was completley out the way and we had to get taxi's everywhere. The hotel didn't really have any entertainment either. Also it stated that there was a shop in the hotel which there wasn't so it was about a 10 min walk just to get the morning paper!
But all in all we had a brilliant holiday and met some great people there!!!

Review of 'MONTERREY APARTMENTS'

As a party of ten girls we stayed in the monterrey in aug '04. The rooms were so spacious we couldn't believe it. Its quite a bit out but that meant that through the day when your trying to sleep it was much easier than being a midst the hustle and bustle, and taxi's are cheap. As it was further out it wasn't as lively as some of the other hotels and as we were all up for partying - this wasn't always well appreciated. The pool was clean as were all the facilities. I dont remeber any tennis courts or a jacuzzi so these must be new. As it was quite high up from the back of the hotel on a night you got a great veiw of the sunset. There is also a lovely little bistro just around the corner, the food was superb there and it was really friendly. The cleaners did a good job in the rooms and were pleasent. However, the reception staff weren't that friendly and some of the male staff pestered us quite a bit. Last year it worked out to be really good value for money to stay here. the prices have gone up a bit this year but for the size of the rooms are more than reasonable.

Review of 'MONTERREY APARTMENTS'

Hotel was lovely, apartment was very spacious and would sleep 6 people (2 bed)as there were two single beds in the bedroom and two single beds in the livingroom tucked away behind a curtain theres also a setee with a pull out bed underneath and a kitchen area. Theres a shop in the hotel and nice bar and good choice of food.  The pool is also nice and entertainment on some nights.  It took about 10 minutes to walk down to the beach and around 30-45 minutes to walk to san an but it's a lovely walk along the front, it took about 20-30 mins to walk to the bay.  In the night the road leading to and from the hotel is dark and our room was situated right above the entrance to the hotel where all the partygoers would come and go and hang out, which wasnt very pleasant all through the night when your trying to sleep so a saucepan of cold water did the trick when they got too loud.  Great value for money
