From seeing the Monte Carlo on our last trip we decided to stay there this time around. Unfortunately the surrounding area is under heavy construction and the sound of the building works could be heard to some degree 24hrs a day. 5am was the main time the heavy construction started and continued throughout the day making staying beside the pool anything but relaxing. Add to this the fact they were also re-decorating the casino floor meant you could not even get away and have a gamble without hearing drills and noise. Having said that the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Generally the whole of the strip is undergoing a major makeover and the skyline is ruined by cranes everywhere, not a good time to go at present.
