The Mitsis Roda Beach Resort And Spa overlooks the tranquil Roda Bay on Corfu’s north eastern shoreline. The hotel is set amidst 25 acres of colourful gardens that lead down to the sandy beach and the turquoise Ionian Sea. The magnificent location is complemented by good food and entertainment and bright and spacious guest accommodation at this all inclusive complex. The guest rooms all offer air conditioning, mini fridge, telephone, radio, safe, hair dryer, and a balcony or veranda overlooking the gardens or the sea. Substantial renovation work has been carried out in the restaurants, lobby and swimming pool areas during winter 2005/6. The hotel has also added a beach bar, an Italian and Chinese restaurant. The hotel is a few minutes’ walk from Roda village and 35 km from Corfu Town and the airport. Please Note: Due to the fact that the hotel and some of its facilities are on different levels accessed by steps, this property is not recommended for people with walking difficulties.

We had stayed at Roda Beach hotel 20 years ago and were happy with the improvments. Our bedroom was very large as we chose to have a family room and this had a balcony with a gate which gave you direct access to the pool, the only problem with that is although it was easy to get into the pool it wasn't easy to get out of it onto our balcony, we had to use the steps, and then walk round the complex in your swimming costume, but I suppose younger children could easily jump up. The food was good and plently of choice. The booking for the on site restaurants was a pain, you had to book at the restaurants between 12-1 and 5-6 and there was always a queue and we didn't want to queue so never tried those resaurants. It is a five minute walk on the beach to the village, we had a car so we visited lots of places and this is a beautiful island which you probably don't appreciate if you just stay at the complex.
