Miranda Great Stay

30 May 2008
The Miranda is a small hotel but we found it to be one of the nicest places that we have been to, not only is the hotel very central but also very well run and very peacefull, if you want a good nights sleep book in here. All of the staff are great and very helpful. Linda ( the Owner ) and Jenny were just great. Linda's dog Mia is just the best. We felt like we had known the whole family for years. The rooms are all clean and airy each with a small balcony with plenty of space for your clothes and possessions. The hotel has a nice pool and breakfast room. It also has a bar, TV lounge and two terraces to sit and relax or have a nice chilled beer or real coffee. The breakfast is a buffet style with fresh bread, pastries, boiled eggs, ham, cheese and numerous cereals and fruit juices. Would recommend this hotel to anybody that wants just a nice place to stay with really nice people at the helm. We liked it so much we are going back in September

Short Spring Break at the Miranda

04 May 2008
We stayed at the Miranda for the first time, for 6 nights at the end of April, beginning of May. We were very satisfied with the service, food and surroundings. The rooms are not large, and the bathroom was tiny, but everything worked, which is a delight! Everywhere was spotlessly clean. We would definitely recommend it to others, and would certainly stay there again. I would also like to say that the Jaggy Thistle pub is a great place to go if you like pubs with a good atmosphere. Alison Clancy's voice is so versatile, and the karaoke, even if you don't particularly like it usually, is great because the bar staff join in too! Les is a master at generating 'turns'

Far better than expected for the price we paid. Good location, room basic but more than adequate and kept very clean. All in all very happy with our stay and the excellent value.

Miranda review

06 April 2008
We were looking for a base from which to explore the island. We hired a car from the airport and found the hotel quite easily - less than half an hour away. The Miranda is a budget hotel - no frills but very clean and well kept. The rooms were basic but perfectly adequate for our needs as a base to explore. It has a nice little bar for a late night drink and chat. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was quite simple but certainly very good value for the price that we paid for the room! The Miranda is situated at the quieter end of town and is within easy reach of some good Spanish bars and restaurants. The beach, shops, buses and taxis are five minutes away. We visited the island just literally at the start of the season (early April) and found it so easy to get around with no crowds, easy parking, no queues etc. I think that the hotel could be quite hot and noisy in peak season - but that applies to most tourist places anyway! All in all a cheap and cheerful hotel. Great value for money and I would recommend it anyone needing a base for exploration!

Short Break at Miranda Oct 2007

17 October 2007
This hotel was exactly what we expected for the price being charged. the place was basic but clean. the housekeepeing couple were as described by another couple. The Breakfast was as much as you wanted of basic fare. The pool was freezing cold and deep but the little terrace round it was adequate. If you want luxury and nightlife look elsewhere, if you want somewhere as a base that is reasonable this is your place. 5 minute walk from bus terminus.

Miranda

04 September 2007
We stayed at the Miranda from 25/8/07 to 3/9/07. We arrived early hours into the morning to be greeeted by a young male on the reception desk. He attended to our booking in and carried my suitcase upto the first floor. The rooms are basic, but clean. After a few days some of the paint started to flake of the wall onto my bed. I pulled the bed away from the wall, went down for breakfast which is more than adequate if you just like cereal, toast, selection of jams, boiled eggs cheese & ham. We then went out for a stroll, came back and were pleasantly surprised by the wall being repaired. Hows that for a quick resonse, i didn't even have to mention it. The lady who cleans the rooms, must have mentioned it to her husband (they make the breakfasts, clean the pool as well) got on with the job in hand. I'm so sorry i cannot tell you their names, but they are very kind and always greet you warmly and with a smile aswell. The beds are made every day. The rooms do need updateing but what you pay for is more than adequate. On our last morning at the Miranda we were to collected by our transfer coach at 7.05 in the morning. As we were leaving the hotel the caretakers (looking for a better word to call them) both shook our hands and bid us goodbye. Both my husband and i would be most happy to return to the Miranda. Review of 'MIRANDA'

The Miranda is a small hotel in the 2 star bracket but I found it to be one of the nicest budget places I have used in Europe.

The rooms are all clean and airy each with a small balcony with plenty of space for your clothes and possessions. The hotel has a nice pool and breakfast room. It also has a bar, TV lounge and two terraces to sit and read the paper or have the odd beer or two.

The breakfast is a very filling buffet with fresh bread, pastries, eggs, ham, cheese and numerous cereals and juices.

Lynda who owns the hotel is friendly and very helpful to the point of making you feel as if you were staying with family.

I would recommend anyone who wants a budget hotel with five star service to use the Miranda. I am planning a trip back to Santa Ponsa in September with some friends and we plan to stay here again.
