'Lovely Hotel'
20 April 2008
We have not to long returned from the Miramar we had a 4 day break at the hotel. We booked a seaview room which was lovely to wake up to in the mornings!!
The room was very clean and spacious and the bathroom was lovely too!
We booked half board and there was a good choice for breakfast and dinner. The waiters and waitresses were very helpful and spoke a good level of english.(Try the Sangria with your meal it was 'delicious')
The reception staff were very helpful too and gave us lots of information re the area. Location of the hotel was ok too.
Would definately stay here again without hesitation!!! Thankyou.....

Very good

Really happy with this hotel. It was very clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. We only went B&B, continental style but nothing to complain about. Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone as it's location in right on the beach in a central position. Also not to far to walk to any nightlife but also far enough away not to be disturbed.

friendly atmosphere

the miramar has an ideal location for lloret with great views of the beach.the staff are friendly and the hotel is kept to a high standard of cleanliness.the breakfast is typical for spanish hotels, but eating out is not expensive. the roof top pool ares is not very good but as it is a small hotel its hardly likely to get busy. would definitely stop here again, thankyou

2nd time we've stopped at this hotel. Had a sea view and balcony this time, excellent views over beach and sea. Hotel in quiet place, away from the strip which is great to escape to after a night out. Hotel is clean and staff really friendly and accommodating, food is regular hotel fare but good all the same. Would def reccommend and will probably go again.

HOTEL CLEAN AND FUNCTIONAL. NOT 4 STAR BY ANY STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION. BREAKFAST VERY BASIC. ROOMS CLEANED EVERY DAY. STAFF HELPFUL. BEAUTIFUL VIEW TO THE SEA FROM THE SEA VIEW WINDOWS.

Review of 'MIRAMAR'

I have stayed in a few hotels in lloret de mar but this one is the best by far,the rooms are very spacious and beautifull. We had a sea view room, which was just so relaxing. The food was also very good, nothing at all can me or my partner fault the miramar hotel 10/10.Will definatly stay there again. We did look into how much it would cost to stay there ,booking through the hotel not the internet and it would cost double to go straight through them which is madness so use the internet to look up the bargains

Review of 'MIRAMAR'

As a single traveller this Hotel is ideal I had a good clean spacious room not stuck in a broom cupboard as you can sometimes. The situation of the Hotel is ideal beach to the front shops to the rear, can be quite lively when the concerts are on in the square below but don't be put off by this, when I was there it was a musical event a band, singers and a group to finish off the evening very civilised as the local Spanish people where there. The Hotel is ideal for couples or singles, buffet menu good selection to chose from. If you don't have room with a view there is rooftop area where the pool is to sunbathe and good views over the promenade and sea. I had short break and was very impressed as the Hotel is situated in the older part of lloret it is lively but not rowdy with lots of Spanish bars and Restaurants in close proximity. I would certainly return to this Hotel.

Review of 'MIRAMAR'

The Miramar is a beautiful hotel. We went minus children for a "mini-break" (Bridget Jones style) to celebrate my birthday & boy were we impressed. We could not fault the hotel in any way. The room was spotlessly clean, with a fantastic view of the sea & promenade. To sit on the balcony watching the sunrise was magical. On the Saturday evening we were treated to a traditional performance by the local brass band & dancing senior citizens, who were exceedingly sprightly. Again all this was viewed from our balcony. Presumably this is a regular occurrence as the band stand seemed to stay put. We stayed on a half board basis & were impressed with both the standard & the variety of food available. Transfers (booked via alpha rooms) to & from the hotel were efficient & good value for money. If we did not know any different, we would have thought that we were in a little Spanish village, as this hotel is far removed from the club/drink 'til you drop image of Lloret. If you want the nightlife then it's just around the corner but if you want a peaceful relaxing holiday you can actually experience this due to the location of the hotel. A word of warning, do not jump into the "bijou" roof top pool without dipping your toe in the water first. Supposed to be heated but it certainly took my breath away!! The Staff were very helpful & nothing was too much trouble. All in all, we had a fantastic time & will definitely return with the children next time.
