Great Accommodation

This accommodation is very roomy and clean. It is in an excellent location. The pool was quite small but big enough. The only problem was the lift broke down quite a few times. We were in a party of 17 ages ranging from 1 to 59 and everyone thoroughll enjoyed themselves and thought the accommodation was great value. It wasn't too noisy like other people said.

As part of a group of 17 with children aged from 7 to 17 we had a great time staying in the Mirachoro. The appartments were clean and tidy and spacious for a family. Towels were changed every other day and beds/bins emptied every other day. The location of Mirachoro is ideal as the strip begins at the top of the stairs directly outside the Mirachoro. There was a little noise at night but not enough to keep the children from sleeping as this is the quieter end of the strip.

This place is fine, apartments are a really good size and functional if a little old fashioned. Clean towels every other day, beds made etc.
We were a group of male golfers and found the night life reasonably good, short taxi into the old town or the strip both at hand. We were recommended a taxi firm run by ex pats by the people who own one of the bars opposite the hotel and they were good value and very reliable.
No noise was experienced from the bars over the road though we did hear of some noise from a family staying in the hotel.
I would recommend Mirachoro 1 to groups of people looking for somewhere to crash, I think it could be a bit boring for families, I wouldn't take my wife and 6 year old but if it's all your budget stretches to you could do an awful lot worse.

19th october 2007. Just got back from aweek at the mirachoro. Overall I was very pleased with my stay . The apartments were very spacious , the pool was great for older kids but you might struggle as I did with a toddler as pool was too deep. The staff were all great and helpful apart from the very grumpy bar snack girl who we found very difficult and please don't ask her about ice creams. Overall basic and cheap.

hotel good location just at the top of the strip clean and tidy hotel 1 bed apartments are very big pool bar with snacks sky tv good lounge bar daily mini bus free to the beach other wise good 20mins walk down the stripe lots of bars and good eating places

Appartment were a bit far from the beach but the curtesey bus was really good always turned up on time, the appartments themselves were very clean,snack bar was excellent, pool area was excellent, staff at the appartments were very friendly and really helpful. Appartment was good size, didn't feel on top of one and other. We were situated just at the begining of the 'strip' so we didn't he to go too far bar bars,resteraunts or shops.

The hotel mirachoro was an exellent hotel it was quiet when me and my friends were there but we enjoyed it very much. The only downfall was the pool it was rather small but it did not matter as we were hardly in it but it was very clean and so was the rooms and they were very big and comfy. The reception staff was very nice and helpfull and so was the rep. There was bars just across the road from it and they were very lively at night. Overall we really enjoyed our holiday and would love to go back to that hotel anyday.

Very large, well equipped apartment with balcony. Short walk to 'the strip' with plenty of restaurants and bars. Free bus service 6 days a week to the lovely beach, but it is also quite possible to walk there. Reasonable swimming pool, with large lovely public pool opposite-(10euros for 2 sunbeds and umbrella).

Review of 'MIRACHORO I' and Albufeira

Mirachoro is set at the very top of Albufeira strip in a very quiet spot. The reception is very very helpful and open 24/7. The pool was small and very quiet but me and my mates managed to sort that out with our inflatable music speakers! There is a snack bar open until six then the hotel evening bar opens which is open until 2am. The rooms are very spacious and very clean with cleaners coming in every day. Hotel bar is very cheap and has a games room with table football, pool table (3.50 for half hour or 6 euros for full hour, and electronic dart board. Barman is very friendly! It is about 10 minute walk to top of strip and a further 10 minute walk to the main bars. A lot of the bars have live bands playing every night performing covers and they are amazing, best ones are in bar 'Wild & Co' along with the barmen juggling glasses/bottles on table tops! All bars shut at 4am and the only thing that stays open is the strip clubs and Kiss nightclub until 7am. The beach was about 30 minute walk away at the very bottom of the stip but the apartment runs a free bus service to town centre and to the beach on the hour. All in all a good holiday with a very good apartment.

Pleasantly surprise by the size of accomodation, hotel nice and clean, staff friendly, great location.. Would certainly recommend it to my family/friends. Only thing i would critisize was the pool area could have done with music playing while you sunbathed, other than that it was great.

I stayed at these apartments with my Boyfriend in May, the apartments are the biggest I have ever stayed in. The Kitchen was well equipped and cleaners came every other day. The Pool was small and too closed in and the sunbeds around the pool were dirty and half of them were broken. However, There is a public pool accross the road from these apartments and it is gorgous!! it is 10 euro's for 2 sunbeds and an umberella which is great. The strip (pubs and restaurants)is 400m away but this is the top of the strip and it is quiet it was more lively at the bottom which is a fair walk but only 2.50 euro's for a taxi to take you down which was well worth it! The beach is quite far but the apartments run a free bus service and they do several trips throughout the day to and from the beach and main town.
Overall I thought it was good and well worth the money. The only let down was the pool!
